555?

What is 555 suppose to taste like? I tried some from a supplier when I first started on ecigs and I loved it. It had a kind of sweet tobacco taste with a really nice nutty, buttery back end. Recently I decided to try a new supplier that is much closer to me so I could receive my orders faster. I ended up ordering some 555 18mg cartomizers along with 30ml of the same to refill. This stuff is nasty. It taste like peppery tobacco sucked thru a rubber hose. I thought it was just the carts so I tried some from the 30ml bottle with my 510. Taste the same. No where near what it was like the first time. Now I'm stuck with 30ml of stuff I cant vape. Any ideas on what I could cut it with to make it tolerable?

Yes, it should taste tobacco/nutty. Hard to say what you should cut it with. What DIY supplies do you have to cut it with?

I was just going to go pick up some LorAnns flavoring. I believe my local grocery store carries them.

OK, see if you can find almond and vanilla. The almond for a nutty flavor and vanilla to sweeten some. You will cut the nicotene level down by adding the flavoring. I haven't used loranns but most people that do say you need about 20% added to your unflavored mix to get good flavor. Just an idea, it might not be worth the cost to try and save the liquid. Start looking into making your own liquid, I've done this and have been very pleased with the results so far.

Thanks for the help. Unfortunately I need to see if I can make this vapeable. I ordered replacement juice from my other supplier but I don't believe I'll see it until Monday. This seems to happen to me a lot. I always end up having to scrape by while waiting for juice. I just might attend VapeFest in Va. Hopefully I'll be able to try some juice before I buy.

Your welcome and good luck, I just noticed loranns has vanilla butternut, this would probably be better than just plain vanilla for your cut, hopefully they will have it at your store if you decide to go that way.

personally, i would cut it with some vg from the local store, ( USP ) and then add a little loranns like the above poster said, like vanilla butternut. I have heard some say that the loranns flavors are best when 2 are mixed together ( ie, vanilla alone is yucky, but if you mix it almond, it is great, ) just a suggestion. thats what i am going to do with my multitude of flavors that i hate. i am waiting for some flavoring now, did you say that you can buy it at the local grocery???

The worst 555 was from a U.S. supplier that tasted like it was tainted with motor oil. Not sure if it was but I still vaped the entire bottle because I was on a 1000 mile road trip with no substitute.

Reall 555 is nutty but with a strongger tobacco flavor than RY4.

I use Lorann's Peanut Butter for my 555.

Sounds like you got some Dekang...stuff is nasty IMO.
