I'm laying odds that the coil in question is generic one rather than a genuine KangerTech coil. Even the real McCoys have a small variance (usually measured in the hundredths of Ohms) but a 40% variance indicates poor QC, something not typical for Kanger.

Hey guys new here. recently bought and put in a new kangertech .5ohm clapton coil but when i put it on the ohms read at .3 and im not sure how to fix this I tried unscrewing it and screwing it back in but still .3ohms. Anyone got any solutions? Thanks.
