5V Box Mod. Completed at last~!

Finally after weeks of procrastination, I completed my 5V box mod after I accidentally my 3.7V wan.


As usual red is PTV(press-to-vape) with master ON/OFF


Internal guts. The brown thing is the circuit board that I attached the regulator and the wires to.


Materials used:

1. LM1085 from RS Singapore
2. 3x AA batt box from SLT(14500batts can fit)
3. generic circuit board from SLT (Rows are connected to each other type)
4. PB from SLT

Total costs: $10

Vout at connector is 4.96V which is well within the operating specs. Paired with Bulli A2T config to 2.6Ohms and start vaping like a boss~!

Good thing about using LM1085 is that the Vin is minimum 6.5V so u no need to worry about overdischarging the batts if u're using unprotected ones. And the voltage is regulated so voltage is consistant

I find 5V not suitable for pure PG. Think PG too thin liao. I saw my 100% PG juice burst into flames. When test firing my bulli.

Pg is combustible? Far out, I have burnt it at 8v on 2 ohm atty and no flames leh, think your wick caught fire....

yah.... I realised that when I started to test vape my juices. then I realised I ordered wrong fr theraliquid. supposed to be PG/VG but I forgot to select when placing order. So end up with 1 100% PG. So decided to mix the 2 together if not 100% PG sure chao tar taste
