So after getting deeper into the ecig world, ive really wanted to try 5v. I currently have the Hello 016 from madvapes that vapes for a least a day for me, but id like something with more vapor production etc. Tried the LR method, but i got sick of the burnt taste and having to drip contantly.

Ive run across Kens box mods which seem to be quality craftsmanship as well as affordable. ive also looked at the 5v PTs from madvapes but im having a tough time choosing between the two.

Does a PT compare to a boxmod? Is the extra cost from buying the batteries and charger worth it over a a simple 5v PT? The price difference is quite alot ($15 or so for the PT vs $50 for the mod plus batts/charger)

I already know of a cheap 2amp USB car adapter and wall adapter that i could get easily, so that wont be a problem. Any advice would be awesome.

Never LR with 5v!! It would pop!

I currently vape with a Fist Pack which has 4 voltage settings from 4.3 to 5 volts. I use regular, old 510 attys with no problem. I also have an eGo which I've used with LR. LR just simulates, or comes close to simulating, 5 volt vaping. It actually seems closer to what I get at 4.5 on the Fist Pack. Since I'm using reg attys, I drip like normal.... apply again as needed.
