As some may have read, my Chuck was stolen the other day... ARG.
Anyhow, I'm looking to try out a 5v device. What are my options here?

I should also note that while serving overseas I got spoiled on using
Cartomizers- specifically from V4L. I need options there as well.

Ken at boxmods.net has some reasonable 5v boxes.

Or you could forget about VV mods and buy a proper mechanical one with no electronics to fail, and use a 5v regulator adapter or terminator adapter to dial anything under 6v, they go between the atty connector and atty, no messing about with your mod, and will work on anything that does 6v.

Interesting.... cool way to have a 5v/6v mod... just insert adapter... no need for a switch/varister to vary voltage. Got a link???

I don't have the links handy, but Nhaler makes the Regulator for a set 5v, and Notcigs has the Terminator which you can dial to what you want under 6v. And of course the mods have to be operating at 6v to use them on incase people wonder if they can make the adapter work on a mod that is 3.7v to go to 5v.

The 5v pvs that I have heard good things about are the GLV and the Saber Touch. You should also look into an adjustable voltage device like the Buzz.

I have both glv 5v and saber touch 5v the glv seems to hit harder than the saber touch. I like the glv much better. I'm considering adding a Buzz to my collection.
