I've only done 6V but as the batts taper off im sure there has to be 5V in there somewhere, but i dont think i realize the difference. I started 6V on my SB and just cant go back to 3.7V! so much more vapor and flavor and with standard liquid! although from that last 3 weeks doing it with the 510, 901 and 801 I have come to favor the 801 for the best vaping experience. i wish they were not as big but its just so RAD, yes i said it, RAD! it just dont matter as long as i have my SB and 801's and I havent blown one yet! and that is just my thoughts! no offense to the 510 and other atty users out there!:D

I can't vote in the poll because I've not tried true 5v vaping. What I will say is that I'd been using my DSE901 for 8 weeks reasonably happily, was a 30-40+ rolly a day smoker (100 gms Golden Virginia a week) and gave up instantly!, apart from I was fed up of the rubbish batteries. I'd bought a 5 pack from TW and only 2 of them were any good so battery swapping was a nighmare and I was always woried if I was out for the night. So I decided to get myself a mod and ended up buying a 2nd hand Silver Bullet off of another forum member with all the batteries etc and 510 atty.

WOW! I'd heard 6v vaping was supposed to be harsh and I suppose it was a bit at first but I think that was because I was taking too much of a drag on it compared to the DSE901. I just love the 6v. The throat hit and the vapour production are just far superior to 3.7v and I just can't go back to the lower voltage anymore, despite trying.

People also say it uses more juice, which it certainly does, but I also find it increases the nicotine hit too so I would have thought the cost wouldn't be much more to DIYers because you can decrease the nic content of your juice thus making it cheaper again. I'm practically already down to 0 nic (started off at 18mg, then 11, then 8 and now just 4mg) now so amount of juice usage isn't really an issue for me anymore but maybe worth considering if you are on high nic content (though if you are I 'd suggest you try lowering it, you may be pleasantly suprised. I really think that the act of smoking is the most addictive part rather than the nicotine. I've had no trouble bringing the nic content down at all and I thought I was a pretty die hard heavy smoker). There is also atty's to consider. I've only had the SB a few days so don't know how long the atty will last being used on 6v permenantly. I'm keeping my fingers crossed on that score :-S

So I can't tell you what 5v is like but IMO 6v is wicked!

I like the very warm vapor of 6 volts, but the vape quickly becomes harsh, even when using liquid designed for high voltage vaping.

Overall, I prefer 5 volt vaping. My Prodigy with a penstyle atomizer at 5 volts is absolute heaven. Lots of taste and plenty of throat hit, but not nearly as harsh a vape as 6 volts.

Having said that, cartomizers with 6 volts rock. Seriously.

Ok Guys/Gals this is just an update....On how the polls are going, and it is really is confusing me... But NOT in a bad way though...This is what i call "therapeutic confusion"....So please keep voting and keep posting your opinions....And also i would like to see some ECF members actually tell me which PV run on 5V and 6V...
Thanks.....
