I haven't tried one yet, but I've just ordered (along with a tox) the visions that came with the gripper (they posted them for sale as individual units last night). AFAIK these were designed for HV vaping and they are 4 ohm. You may wish to give them a looksie. I have been extremely satisfied with the vast majority of the vision line, so I expect no different with these.

I put a reply in your other thread on the stardust but my question is are you totally limited to 5v? I am going to assume maybe you have a fixed 5v box but if not there are tons of styles that will give you a great vape on less voltage. The single coils 1.7 ohm smoketek come to mindand work well at 3.7 up into the mid 4's depending on juice(if its really sugary, rtc).

Duals already have 2 complete coils inside so your not gonna get more heating area unless you actually pour gas on it and set it on fire. You might look at the juice your using as it can have a great effect on vapor as far as whats in it and PG/Vg ratio. Mostly or all PG juice are gonna be lighter on actual vapor and usually carry flavor better where VG adds the vapor but can mute the flavor a tad.

Most people barring alergies use a 70ish PG 30ishVG ratio to even it out. I moved away from the dual coils cuz you can get almost if not as good vapor from other types of carto's while using much less battery oer drag. Duals are pretty brutal on battery life imo.

Sorry about being vague in my first post. I was referring to any chance of a dual coil vision at some point.

My 5v mod is the regulated tube mod from CoV. I like it a lot, but I had issues with visions giving me dry hits. I know it is not due to the coils, but rather due to the limits of the wicking material. (Thus the question about dual coils to put the heat output per coil in line balance with the capability of the wicking material.)

I'm dripping with a dual coil atomizer, that I love. But, would like something, other than burntek carto's, when I drive.

Awesome. That was the answer I was looking for.

Bad, one thing I saw on Steve s review about dual coil ce2 s was that the top coil tended to run dry. I have a couple of solutions that might work.

Obviously, the easiest would be dual horizontal coils, but that might make the form factor larger than desired.

The other is slightly outside the box. Well, not really, just not "normal." If the wick has more issue at the top coil, which could be due to some of the liquid heating up and vaporizing due to the vapor coming from the bottom coil, use different ohms per coil. Higher ohm top coil with a lower ohm bottom coil.

Just a thought.
