Dual coil Vs. SR cartos

I have a 5v GLV 2 and have been using 3.0 ohm Boge cartos. I would like to try a dual coil but am a little confused as to the ohms ratings. Almost all I can find are 1.5 - 1.7 ohm range. Wouldn't that be too little to run at 5v?(i know it would work with the glv) I like the way the 3 ohm single coil boge's heat I just wanted to try a dual coil with the same temperature and maybe more vapor.


Maybe I'm not even on the right track here, I have been vaping a thick liquid and the boges only seem to last a couple days before loosing vapor production. I thought maybe a dual coil would be better.

You should be able to use a dual coil on a 5V GLV2, I use Dual coils all the time on my 5V box mod with ease. The vapor is warm at 1.5-1.7, flavor is great, and vapor production is great as well. As for higher ohms, they will provide a cooler vape, I'll look into where to find them in a moment.
