I find 5 volts is perfect. 6V makes the liquid sort of burnt tasting to me, and 3.7 just leaves me wanting more, now that I'm used to 5V. I use the BB with the passthru and radio shack wall adapter to do this. A SB is probably the safest way to do it with batteries, because you can get protected ones that work with it.

Wanted to see if it could do 5v, thats where id like to vape!

....I don't think you can do 5v on battery? Is there a voltage drop on the device?

2 X 3v = ~6v

I think for 5v you're going to need a passthru and the appropriate wall wart. Is this correct?

Yes, there is a drop in the voltage when using 3v batteries. Not so much of a drop with the 18650 battery, but there is still a small drop.

There is another spring that might be sold at altsmoke for more of a 6v vape. It's not as mellow as the spring that comes in the SB, BB, because it's more like how the Chuck vapes with it installed.

Just get the protected CR123a 900mah batteries.

Dang, I thought of that when I stopped in to get the Enercell. The girl looked and said they didn't have anything for the car... but then again she wasn't really sure of what she was looking for. I'll have to find it on their website and then have it shipped to the store. Good thing I have a RS just around the corner :)
