Bought an analog look-alike (1 battery, 1 atty, 10 carts, 1 charger) for about $25 from a cigar shop on 1-19-2011 at about 11:30am. Smoked a couple of analogs and read a book while waiting for it to charge. Put it together and tried it out at approximately 12:30pm

Those were the last analogs I've smoked to date.

I'm so pleased to not have the jittery jonesing wanting that I had every other time I've tried to quit, cold turkey, or using patches, gum, hypnosis, etc. I'm getting my nicotine fix. I have something to play with. I have something to put in my mouth. I have "smoke" I can blow out my nose. What's missing?

Holes in the clothes. Holes in the interior of my vehicle. Nasty smell in the garage and my vehicle. Overflowing ashtrays. Littering the world with butts. Ashes every-freaking-where. Complaints from the wife about "kissing an ashtray". Standing outside in the cold/rain/snow/wind/heat/whatever.

*sarcasm*
Gee, I'll miss all that.
*/sarcasm*

Oh, hey, the smoke from the burning weeds going into my lungs, I'll miss that, too. Not.

I can't picture ever lighting an analog again. I still have the last pack in the cup holder of my pickup, just sitting there with one lonely little analog in it. Maybe I'll buy some acrylic resin and preserve it with the lid of the box open, and the single little analog in it.

I got online that evening, bought a Riva 510 and some small bottles of juice from Liberty Flights, and am enjoying it immensely.

So far, I've vaped in my pickup, in bed, at the dining room table after a meal, and in the home theater. Also in the bar last night during pool leagues. Plan to do the same tonight. Both bar owners I've talked to so far have been supportive, and said no problem. I'm going to be busy contacting all the other bars we play at, getting a yea or nay.

I ninja-vaped at the pool tournament in the city auditorium this past weekend, and am doing so at work, while the owner of the company makes up his mind about it.

I was surprised at the lack of attention I got last night at my pool league. I figured people would notice, but it is a dark bar, the light is mainly over the pool tables, and I am not going to try to vape with a cue in my hand. I can wait until I sit down again. A couple of guys on my team noticed, and a couple on the other team, sitting at the next table noticed.

All in all, a very satisfied "customer". I have already fired an e-mail off to one of the guys on the opposing team from last night, he was very interested. And he's young. Where the Fu@& were these things when I was 25? Dammit, all those years smoking. I pray every day that my kids don't ever pick up a cigarette.

Day 5 here.. pretty similar story to yours. I've had so much better energy and so excited about this little world that I jumped after doing some research to get a better kit and more juices. I'm sleeping better, feeling more energetic and I swear my senses are more acute!

My S.O. and I were MB Lights smokers.. she hasn't fully embraced the vaping yet, but much of the research I'm doing I'm sharing with her. She's tried a few hits off of my starter kit and it was too much throat hit for her, so I'm hoping when I get all the supplies, I can find a sweet spot for her.

Congrats.. and stay on-track.

I just posted such a similar intro post! This is the PERFECT opportunity to teach your kids, tell them about your struggles, tell them what you just told us... and congratulations :)

When I go into bars I ask the bouncer first, I'll confess right now, I start with "so I had to quit smoking..." I never use the word cigarette unless they already said yes and are just interviewing me :) I have never been turned down

Congrats! I remember making a similar post at day 5 - that was back in May.It's so exciting, and pretty soon, you won't be thinking about cigarettes at all.

On the few times I'd feel a little "unsatisfied" and have a craving, I'd just think about my newly ashless car and clean smelling hair/clothes and I was just fine.

Thanks for sharing your story!
