Well, I've crossed the 60 day mark and it's the longest I've ever been without smoking. To be forthcoming, I've had exactly 4 smokes during that period. A Marlboro light I grubbed after a long meeting shortly after I started. Two rollies I put together during bbq's with my hard drinking neighbor (probably alcohol induced wagon falling) and another rollie in Amsterdam...Can't say no to spiked Turkish blends...
Since today was hot again, I decided to lounge on the couch and clean the boys. I'm so glad to be on a perpetual hunt for the ultimate vape. I guess I found what I was looking for and am sharing for the benefit of newbies still on the fence.
Like Lays, you can't have just one. I can't seem to have just two either but everything has a purpose.
First thing in the AM, I give the Prodigy V3.1 a whack. Two 16340 AW's cranking at 4V give me 8V of umph. This thing hits like Deniro's baseball bat in the Untouchables. I run this only on dual coil clearos, twin 1.5 Ohm resistors under 8V crackle nicely. I only vape IKV Gold PG 24mg. in this.
I'm running on my last 4 bottles so I'm getting a little concerned. I've experimented with 18mg spiked with 36mg pg juice but it looses a bit of that incredible IKV flavor. It's not sweet and just a bit nutty. Really an all day vape for sure. I've also discovered that in the am, 6~8 volts are a must for me. It's when I crave nic the most. Hopefully Issac is rustling up some more juice.
In the car, I run the cocobolo and maple Monkey Boxx Mini. It fits right on the ledge of my car's nav screen. I laid a bit of rubbery silicone matting on the ledge surface and the thing just stays put, even whilst pulling really hard turns at 80mph going over Afton Mountain while listening to Golden Earring. Really a nice little toker and run a 16340AW with a 306lR and a black cannon tip.
It's a bottom feeder so it's easy to top off. In the car, I like to run a mixture of 24mg Halo Tribecca and Honeyville Honey Perique, 40%/40% with a 20% kicker of 36mg pg and a touch of menthol. Really a nice vape. The honey sweetens the mixture a bit and the Perique goes well with the spicyness of the Tribecca.
My work mod is a full size Woodvil in Purple Heart and White Ash. The PH darkened up nicely. I was worried it might be too purpley for my taste (not that there's anything wrong with purple) but it's closer to a dark bloodwood as time goes by. By far my most elegant machine, it flies with me to board meetings (bored is a better spelling) when it's not on my desk which is where it is now. I run 2 RCR 123's in that and only vape IKV Gold in that.
Finally, when I get home, after supper I enjoy the Mini Woodvil as a dripper. Due to the bottom feeding design, any overage in juice just flows into the bottle. That thing runs a 14500AW and a 306LR with the pyrex drip tip. I get them from John at theecig.com and has nice tips. Not to be confused with my girlfriend in HS that had nice tips too... She was a tap dancer, what are you thinking...
So at home, when relaxing, I like to experiment some with dripping with the Mini Woodvil. I'm not much into the sweet flavors but do enjoy the BWB 555, the anything from Vermilion River and Boba's from Alien Visions. Really nice stuff, very flavorful, just can't do more than a few drips at a time with the sweet stuff.
Lastly, the Phidius resides in my bedroom. That thing runs on an 18650AW which will run forever. I think I charge it once a week. The wood is also Purple Heart but it's very dark and goes with our cherry furniture. I run that thing on dual coil clear cartos and a soothing mixture of IKV Blackberry Lemonade spiked 40/40 with IKV Gold and 20% Casablanca. For more exciting bedroom experiences, I also have a spare 306 and occasionally run pure menthol juice in there.
OK, long post but I wanted the newbies to see where they can expect to go towards if they're serious about staying off the smokes.
