It's been 60 days for me & 52 days for the wife without an analog. We even got my brother started when he came up for a couple of days so it's been about 2 weeks for him. All in all we are all doing just
fine with our Riva 510's. And thanks to you all for the support. Bob:toast:

Congrats to you, your wife and your brother!!! :toast:

I'm in your club! January 25th for me.

I love vaping but for some unknown and odd reason, tonite I'm missing cigs. I was out with (smoking) friends tonite. I think I'm feeling jealous. Yeah, believe it or not. I'll take a few more hits of (what IS it I've got in this carto?) french toast and call it a nite. Sigh... is there a forum for the psychological aspects of smoking and vaping?

All that said, and I really needed to say it, vaping is incredible, and prolly the most significant change I've ever made in my life. I know the benefits and share those with others on a daily basis. I'm glad to be a part of this forum and this community. I get so much from this and I want to share that gift with others.

Whomever is reading this,,, thanks for listening.

No problem. Lots of good listeners here. Thank you for speaking up.

Yes, to answer your questions, psychological aspects are discussed in several places, but I suspect your issue is really physical. What strength of liquid are you using? I was using "high" which is only 16 to 18 mg of nicotine and had problems. When I increased the nicotine content to 24 mg. things were much better. If you are feeling down in the dumps, you might be missing the MAOI chemicals in tobacco. In that case, you might think about giving "snus" a try. Adding in a pouch when you are going to be around smokers could just be the trick you need to overcome the urges.

Readers - other suggestions?

Congrats to you Rmpetty! And already converting your family is wonderful! I smoked heavily for 38 years and tried everything to quit, but just couldn't until the e-cig. It is truely amazing how simply one could switch without really missing any enjoyment of analogs.

Katdarling, Vokalek is right on (as usual) the MAOI blues can really get you down and have been a big reason for some people not being able to kick analogs, in my opinion. But as Vocalek also mentioned the addition of Snus has help many people better deal with these cravings.
Hang in there......
