60ml bottles leaking?

Searched to see if anybody else was having this issue, my last 2 60's of Wakonda both leaked from the cap, and the caps never seem to feel right. My last bottle was in my lunch cooler and fell on its side and leaked a decent amount but cap was still tightened down. I transferred the rest to and old plastic 50 now, anybody else have this issue? Is it possible im tightening them to much and messing up the seal? Cant stand wasting a drop of this stuff lol.

There's a certain amount of this that happens by virtue of the fact that the only part of the entire process that comes from China are the bottles and then caps. Any scalable production process using Chinese products is prone to QC issues like that. The plastic bottles were WORSE if you can believe it - we hand-checked every cap by hand and ended up tossing 40% of the caps. FOURTY PERCENT. We try to weed out the bad caps as best we can, but some still make it through. Thankfully, it's a much lower number on a % basis than the LDPE plastic - the plastic bottles were unbearable. It was transparent to you because we spent inordinate amounts of capping them "on demand" - the new process is largely automated.

I will get with AI though - make them aware of this.

I had that same issue with a bottle of virus. Over tightened it I think and now the cap does not fit right. Live and learn I suppose ☺

I have found with my bottle of Frenilla that the cap has to be just right for the cap to seal. Just a tad off and it will appear to be on tight but it's not really sealed at all. I have found this to be true with just about every glass bottle. The glass bottles with drippers are the biggest leakers for me. They leak where the rubber and plastic meet. I have not tried a glass bottle with a dripper from NT yet.

My acb came like that... Luckily didn't lose any in packaging, so I figured it was a fluke.

Yes, I have had the same problem with the lid on one of my 60ml bottles. The bottle cap wouldn't work no matter which way I tried. Since I am transferring to the old style 50ml that is 10ml at risk. I vaped quick and transferred the rest.

I too had one that came out of the shipping package loose and leaked about half a ml inside the packaging. No big deal, however, I also realized that the cap just keeps spinning and you can feel it as it tightens and then just gives way. Certainly couldn't be trusted to not leak now, but since it just sits on the shelf, I'm fine with it.
I'm confident that our main man Clark is on top of things and I'm sure all these bumps in the road will soon be distant memories.

I have had glass bottles from other mfgrs. with the same leaky caps problem. Total of two out of twenty isn't bad but still worse than the plastic bottles. Then again, my bottles have always been 15 or 30 ML so maybe it's just matter of the size of the bottles. I still prefer the plastic bottles myself. And yes, I am a fast reader.

I have faith in Clark to find a solution to the problem. Will it be 100%, probably not however, no other vendor can claim 100% either. I understand his reasoning for going to glass and let's face it, we as consumers in a whole, find that glass bottles equal a premium juice. Of course those of us that have had these same NT liquids out of a plastic bottle know this to be false, it tastes the same, the vast majority of consumers think otherwise. I used to think new tennis shoes made me run faster when I was a kid.....I prefer plastic, no frill bottles overfilled with awesome liquid but I support the move to glass as a way for NT to survive and meet the FDA regulations.

My cap on ACB won't tighten. It just strips and keeps turning. I hope it doesn't tip over or it's over. But mine is a 30 not 60

For the first time in 8 months of buying Nicoticket, I opened my package and was greeted with the smell of my juice. I had a 15ml that seeped a little juice and coated the bottle.

This is all I care to say on the subject and won't so much as poke my head in this thread again:

I do not like glass bottles. They are messy pains in the .... I dislike them to the point that if had NT been in glass bottles 8 months ago, I wouldn't be here. While I understand the reasons for switching, they detract from MY experience. I hope I'm the only one who feels this way and that the issues get sorted out, but from my perspective I'm forced to do more work for the same benefit.

I personally haven't had any problems with the glass bottles leaking. I also understand the move. It is however a pain in the backside trying to get the juice out of the bottles without droppers built in. I got a couple syringes, and the little funnels Newportlocal posted look great, but the hassle of washing sucks.

I haven't had any problems with leaking, but I always store them upright in closet of my castle (yeah right). But seriously, try to store them upright.

I've had this problem with almost every glass bottle with a dripper cap I've gotten, regardless of the vendor or juice. Even when kept upright at all times, they leak a little when I shake them. Nature of the beast, I think.

I didn't realize the FDA was regulating this.

My first glass bottle should arrive today (Radio) with a few more coming behind it. I've had other juice in glass and didn't have any issues but I'm glad to read this.

I have a big collection of old LDPE bottles, a small funnel, and a label maker. That should take care of the juice I'm currently using and moving around with. The rest will stay in glass to steep.

So far all the glass bottles have arrived dry and that's all I am looking for when I pick up liquids. I store everything in a cabinet and they sit upright. When I use a bottle it gets transferred to plastic for ease of use.

When I ordered from other suppliers that had glass I did have leakers during transport. I also believe it's the nature of the beast. I went to hobby lobby and picked up some 240ml squeeze bottles for liquid transfers. Slice of the tip to the correct size and they work great. Just don't jam the tip all the way into the new bottle or you create to much pressure for the liquid to transfer and make a mess. And I'm speaking from experience

Just search Squeeze Bottles on their site, they have droppers there too for $3.99 for a pk of 4

I store large quantity of NIC base and when I DiY, I mix 250ml or larger batches. All of this is stored in glass. I transfer to 30 or 60 ml Plastic for daily use. So getting juice in glass is not a problem.

I've just ordered some Atlanta and this will be my first glass order from NT, so I'm not sure how they are sealed. When I get nic base in bottles that cap is shrink wrapped. This might help hold the lid in place and would also contain any leaks in shipping to a minimal amount.

ADDIT: my preferred plastic bottles are large mouth with luer-lock caps. You can use them with or without needles and they have a luer lock cap to close them off.
