Having recently purchased 3 Poldiacs and a Roller (which are no longer made) and finding myself pleased with the Greek top button mechs I am thinking it might be a good thing to get the one I don't yet have, that being the Atmomixani 69 mech.

My very first mech was a sigelei clone of this, the sigelei 24, which over time and experience I found to be a rather inferior mech, but then it's a clone, and Atmomixani seems to have a very good reputation online.

Notwithstanding that the Roller takes a back seat to the Poldiac I do have a preference for top/side button mechs, and I have come to admire Greek workmanship. Then too, both the Poldiac and the Roller are no longer made. I'm very glad to have gotten them while I could, and I'm thinking perhaps the 69 mech might go the same way considering current events in Greece.

So I'd like to hear from those who have authentic 69 mechs. How do you like them? Any criticisms? Are they worth $140?

Well, I've done the clone thing on it, twice. I have two of the Sigeleis and neither proved satisfactory in retrospect. I'm not about to do the fasttech thing, I think I know what I can expect from that. Both Sigelei 24's had the same button and voltage drop issues. I guess what I want to know is how much better the authentic is.

Ok, the Esterigon. Not sure if you want to hear about it since you didn't say. But, here's my :2c: if you do:

Switch needed cleaning as it was sticking. My friend never used it so I'll assume it came to her this way.

Batterys are a tight fit, and it tore the wrapper on a Samsung. So now I need to rewrap that. Batteries with thicker wraps are better in this one.

Switch is nice, but easy to hit accidentally. Since I was using a hybrid connecting atty, best to lock it while you're building.

Lock is at the bottom, which is nice. Turning a ring on the bottom cap raises or lowers the negative battery contact. I thought that was a great implementation for a top side fire mech.

Top cap has a floating positive pin. I'm not using it, but I tested it out, and like it.

Has an airflow adjuster for bottom airflow attys for those still using any.

Hits well and is nice looking.

Only 21mm so not many attys will match up seamlessly for those who want that. I have a couple others aside from the Tilemahos, such as the Aqua v1 and Erlkonigin.

I see Fluid Vapor has it on sale for $79.99. Its a nice mech for that price.

I think you have the wrong idea about clones.
Sigelei makes horrible mechanicals.

I don't know why you are down on Fasttech, they sell both high quality and low quality clones.
They don't make them, they just sell them.
( I have several from FT that are nicer than their authentic counterparts).
FT has a better return policy than authentic modders.

I have over 100 mods, most are clones.

I just got a GG Esterigon today, a gift from a friend. Its not the mod you're asking about, but similar so I'll come back with my opinion on it later if you would like. It has a matching Tilemahos so I need to wash and build it first, then I'll try out the combo.

Okay, let me know how it goes :)

I'll tell you why. Two years ago I ordered a mech from them and got it 9 weeks later. Never ordered from Fasttech again. As for Sigelei, I agree with you completely, they make horrible mechs. The button on the Sigelei 20 was a hot mess, and the 24 wasn't much better, with misfires and serious voltage drop.

I will also agree that some clones are better than their authentic counterparts, however at this point I'm wanting the authentic Greek mechs, while I can still get them, and I'm pretty sure the authentic 69 mech is a lot better than the Sigelei clone.

I got one of the last 9 Rollers made, and three of the last Poldiacs made. Seems like an unhappy trend going on in Greece with the companies that make mods.
