Well, I had been under the impression that 6V sucked because when I first got my Chuck a while ago, I tried it and it had a horrible burnt taste, then I tried a brand new 510 atty and it popped right away.

Now, like 6 months later, I decided to retry it, and I have gotten some really satisfying hits, but it seems to be a fine line to where it gets burnt. I also tried an 801 atty at 6V, whereas I thought 801s sucked, too, but it was surprisingly good at 6V. I could've swore I tried this combo before and hated it, now it's pretty awesome. I've never tasted blueberry muffin like that!

Maybe "conditioning" my attys at 5V had something to do with it.

Anyone have some tips on how to more thouroughly enjoy 6V? I'm using a Chuck with 2 Lifepo batts.

My mod has 6V capabilities. I tried it once. And I mean one hit. It wasn't for me at the time. I may try it again but 3.7V for me is very satisfying. I've been looking at getting something that I can do 4.5 to 5V with. My next mod purchase will definitely be a variable volt.

This: Little Sister Variable Voltage

Redgirl, you are one tough girl! Vaping high nic (the bbmuffin you sent me was delicious, and made my head spin!) and at high voltage. I'm so scared of both those things.

I use my Silver Bullet at 6v sometimes with reg attys, but I prefer to us high Volt attys. Just gotta keep them wet or they stop working or burn your throat :(

Which ohm attys do you use?

I just sent in my Joker to be upgraded to the advjustable volt version, so maybe I can find a sweeter spot between 5 & 6 volts!

Also, have you guys seen The Terminator?:

901 Terminator

Don't know if I would get it, but it could be good for some people, I suppose.

The best advice I can give for HV vaping is bridgeless, wickless attys and keeping the atty soaked (almost to the point of flooding). Also, make sure your rotating the batts inside the PV (I try to do it at least once an hour when I'm at home, or once every break when I'm at work). It helps to make sure the batts are draining evenly.
