Aw does make a 3v lifepo4 but it really isn't very good. Aw says they had a new batch made and im going to test one when ready.

I believe the chargers are different for the 750 and 900 mAh batteries so make sure you get the right one.
Harpo that one is what they say but the Chemistry is the same and the 900 charger will do both.!!
Thanks Rob, I appreciate the flexibility. But I'm not sure which part you are offering to swap. Are you suggesting I not get the tenergy charger that is made for the CR123A 3v I have, and just get the LifePo4 batts and charger?
I received a PM yesterday from another member suggesting that I look into the UltraFire Protected 16340/RCR123A 3.0 V Lithium Ion Battery. The suggestion was that this may be the best 6v route. I assume these would be suited for the switchable UltraFire charger I already have.
Can anyone here speak to that? I am hoping to make a decision today so I can have my alternative by Monday. After the 4 hours of 6v bliss yesterday, my 18650 is really not measuring up anymore.
