Hey, CommaHolly, I mean no disrespect, but what's up with your username and all the... commas? :)

I am known for my commas,,,,,

years ago, in college, I took a creative writing class,,,,,,,the professor told us to keep writing,,,,,,,no matter what, just keep writing,,,,,hit the elipsis if we had to (......) but my finger hit the comma every single time,,,,,,,,,so to this day, when I get typing fast, I just type commas,,,,,,,,,

it's enough to drive even me nuts,,,,,,,,but I can't seem to stop it!

Done! Orders are placed.

Joye eGo-C Twist Variable Voltage 1000mAh Battery from myvaporstore.com with charger for $62 (including shipping)(code:5ecf)

Viva Nova 2.5 from gotvapes.com for less than $15

and now... we wait...

Just one battery? I would suggest getting something...anything for a backup if you only have one.

I am in Illinois, the most corrupt state with washington dc where our freak of a president is as a very close second. The increase in the taxes on cigarettes is the main reason I chose to give vaping a try. my first attempt didn't go so well, I bought a starter kit from the mall from 21 century smoking kiosk, it was ok but not very consistent so I found the forum here and then found out about Vapor4Life in Northbrook which isn't too far from me, I'm in skokie. went to check out their smokeless lounge/store and ended up purchasing a ego starter kit from them with a tank. so far the ego is awesome and Vapor4Life has many different juice flavors and strengths available. plus the staff there is awesome!

my suggestion is check out Vapor4life's website and maybe take a trip to their location and check out what they have available.... can't go wrong with them.

Firstly, I don't care what you or anyone including myself my think of whichever President we have, it's bad taste and un-American to make insulting remarks on a non-political forum.

Cigarettes are $8.20 a pack here in CT. And that's at a store which charges the state minimum. Go elsewhere and we have to pay much more here for cigarettes.

My 2 Joye eGo-C Twist Variable Voltage 1000mAh Battery and 2 Vivi Novas both arrived today. Yes, I did get 2 batteries.

That was really fast. I wasn't expecting them for a couple more days. First impressions after only an hour of vaping.

Positives:

The battery went to full charge within a couple of hours.
The tank was super easy to fill.
My first hit about choked me so the ability to dial it down is awesome.
It is much more comfortable to use than I expected.
Throat hit seems perfect at about 4.5 volts
Lots of vapor on the exhale. (I can blow vapor rings)
After about 50-100 hits, every hit has been consistent - I am starting to trust that my next hit will be just like my last so I don't have to stress over it.

Negatives:

My wife, who has been using KR808 for over a year, stole my spare battery and Vivi Nova and filled it with her cheesecake and won't give it back. She expresses more fondness for it than me :( I now need to order a new spare battery.

Otherwise, it has been about 2 hours since my last analog and I'm doing fine.

And so it begins. . . . Another mailman stalker is created. :D

Congrats on the Twist and the Vivi Novas. That's a great setup and should serve you well.

Now you can go to Phase 2: The never-ending quest for the perfect juice.

Thank you Pappy. I am currently using "tobacco 1" from Royal Electronic Cigarettes which I had tried long ago with the KR808. It tasted great for me but there wasn't enough vapor. Now I am getting the best of both worlds. It is intended to reproduce the taste of marlboro ultra light cigarettes (which I smoked) and I think it does quite well. It is much sweeter than cigarettes (which is not a bad thing) but has just the subtlest amount of tobacco flavor. It is perfect for me atm.

I would like to find it cheaper though. I paid 15 bucks for 10 ml at the mall.

Ouch!! That's really high. The next few days would be a good time to order some juices because some vendors are having a July 4th sale. Here's a link to the subforum with that info. Independence Day Sales. There are probably others having sales who haven't posted there yet.

Oh... no 2.4 Ohm head. That's what I'm using now.

Yeah, no 2.4ohm. That's why it's cheaper. Most places sell the heads for about $4.

I actually have 2 heads at 1.7oh, that I would like to trade since I don't use them

I am using the 2.4 Ohm head. It came with a 1.8 and 2.8 Ohm also but I still don't quite understand what the different resistances do for me. Can anyone explain?

A 1.8 ohm carto/atty/clearo has a coil that gets hotter and glows brighter than the 2.8 ohm.
