7.2v = 6v ??

I have 2 3.7v rechragable cr123's. They out put 7.2 v to my 510 atty. Is this 6v vaping? I cant seem to find this posted anywhere. Just a little clarification needed.

Oh and any of you guys ordering from focaprice, how long does it take to get an airmail order from them? I need more batteries for more mods. I dont think I can stop. I am getting obsessed.

3.7 * 2 = 7.4 ;-)

Anyways, no, that's too much voltage. You'll need to use a voltage regulator to step it down to 5 (or to 6 using resistors)

6v vaping is usually done with two CR2s or 2 3.0v RCR123a batteries.

To answer your question on where to find batteries, I recently had really good luck ordering batteries and a charger from Hong Kong suppliers on eBay. They shipped it out within two days as compared to DX's 2 week to a month wait. I can't imagine focalprice would be much different from DealExtreme.

Depends on the model. But in general yes you're lucky, atomizers are very variable in their tolerances and personally I wouldn't try to use 6v+ long term.

you are probably at about 6.8v .... add something to drop the voltage down an extra 10-15% and you should be right around 6v ...

the difference is that when a 3.7V battis fully charged then the batt has 4.2V
X2 thats 8.4V, and that kills attys
a 3V batt fully charged will be at 3.4V sp X2 6.8V
you can kill attys at this V pretty easily if not carfull but if you keep it wet. its bliss

Yeah, i keep my atty pretty wet. The burnt tast at 8.4.v8-o is pretty nasty. Damn Im vapin at 8 v. What if i don't like the 6 volt vape. I guess i went to hard 2 fast with my limited knowledge. But I lost more atty's with my stcok 510 batteries than vaping at 8 v. Maybe its like a cleaning cycle every time i vape up.
