Hello, so I made an order on VG and PG also 7,2% nicotine PG based from lucemill. Mixed those ingredients to get me a 70/30 - more VG difference and tried to mix a TPA recipe (kiwi(double) + strawberry (ripe)) and also tried some single flavor mixtures too. Steeped them for 3-4 days and the strange thing is that, after smoking liquids on a 50/50 difference on my alien kit (tfv8 baby, alien mod220) everything was ok, but the temperature started rising (PCB) and it started losing flavor on 70/30. Don't know if I made myself clear overhere, I'm just new in this forum :D
Will be waiting for comments!
Thank you! :)

Well, first, let me see if I have this right. You used to vape a 50PG/50VG eliquid, and everything was fine flavor and temp. wise. Now you bought some 72mg nic in 100% PG, mixed it with some plain PG and plain VG, and various flavorings...and your temp. is rising and it seems to be not as flavorful. Correct?

Did you use an eliquid calculator to figure out how much of each ingredient you needed to use? It would help if you could post the recipe you used to make what you're talking about. Also, what finished nic mg did you make it to be?

Right off the bat, if the above is correct...the higher VG content in your eliquid you made, would IMO have made a difference somewhat in the flavor you're getting, because the PG is the flavor carrier. By reducing it to 30%, from the 50% you used to vape, your flavor may not seem as strong to you.

Also, VG is much thicker than PG, so raising the VG to 70% would make it harder for the coils to vaporize it than your 50/50 mix. May account for the temp. rise, but I'm not positive since I don't vape eliquids with that much VG in them.

I'm sure others will be along to either correct any info I may be wrong on, and/or to add to what I posted.

Yes you understood my problem very well :D And I should agree with you with the PG content's absence in my liquid recipe. But it's kind of strange when I tried my friends premium liquid which was 70/30 based and I was feeling the flavor to the full with no trouble in the coils.
P.S. thank you very much for the reply :)

Eliquids you buy at vape shops are usually a very high % of flavoring. If you used less flavoring...that could account for why you could taste it in that liquid, but not much in yours.

If you'll post exactly what size bottle you made of the TFA Kiwi Double + TFA Strawberry Ripe mix...including how much of each ingredient you added (each flavoring, your nic base, plain PG, and plain VG), I might be able to help you figure it out. Would also need to know what final nic mg you wanted it to be, as I mentioned before. ALL of those things will/can make a difference in what your final eliquid tastes like and how it vapes.

I would add if you use to high a percentage of overly sweet flavoring your coils will crust over (Clog) and your wick will turn black. This would explain the higher temperature and less flavor over time. If your using a rebuildable atomizer look at your coil and see if it has a thick black crust on it. If so remove the wick and dry burn the crust off it then re-wick it.
