Hey all,

So I made it 8 days so far! Huge for me as making it three days with any other method was huge. I have found day 7 and 8 to be the worst for analogue cravings. I have 6 left sitting in my drawer. My last one was on my way to buy my first e-cig. I think it's more out of curiosity then anything else. Overall my new addiction is to vaping lol. I can't stop browsing sites looking for new things to buy. Just got my nebula this week, and I'm loving the cartomizers. My wife has gone 4 days and hasn't even refilled hers (she's a pretty light smoker). Have a provari in a saved shopping cart for my 1 month! Is it worth it?

Anyways more or less wanted to say thanks to everyone, without reading your success stories when the cravings get bad I wouldn't have been able to pull it off.

I do not have the Provari, but everything I hear about it is GREAT!! I have found I like the VV boxmod from Madvapes.com It is only $35.99 plus the cost of batteries and charger. But I haven't tired anything since. Congrats on not smoking, my first 30 days was tough. I made sure I didn't have any cigarettes in the house so I wouldn't slip up. I am going on 8 months now. March 1st was my quit date and haven't smoked a cigarette since. You will find it much easier as you go along. If you can make it 30 days I think you will find it easier and easier. I would personally flush those 6 cigs in your dresser down the toilet. You don't need anything tempting you, I found it hard at first watching people on TV smoking. I would get such cravings just from watching people smoke. Good luck on your future, you will feel better and better as you go.

Congrats on quitting. I highly recommend the Provari. When I first quit analogs, I knew that I was going to stick with the PV so I decided that it would save me money in the long run if I went ahead and bought a nice mod. The Provari has tons of useful features and if you're like me, you will always want one and will end up getting it eventually. Save your money on the cheaper units and go ahead and get something nice. I purchased my Provari last Christmas and haven't purchased another mod until now and I'm only getting a backup.

Congrats on 8 days! I think you will be surprised if you do pick up an "analog" - they taste like crizzap to me now! I have maybe a pack in the 3 months since I started vaping, and the majority of that was the first couple weeks. I used to smoke a pack a day, sometimes more. Must go check out this Provari (hope I got that right) - have seen it mentioned multiple times now! :)

Well.. I think I'm going to go ahead and order my provari early lol. I'm the most impatient person (one of the drawbacks of this whole thing. Can't stop checking tracking numbers) I really like some pics I saw of provari with a tank think and a drip tip. This is what I have in my cart so far, does it look like a good buy? I've read I shouldn't use LR carts, but these were recommended to me by the seller.

510 Kanger LR Horizontal Coil Cartomizers
Colour: Black $11.95

ProVari Storage Case $16.95

Pila IBC Charger $69.95

Batteries for ProVari
Size: AW18490 3.7V 1100mAh $14.95

ProVari - Ultimate Variable Voltage E-Cig
Colour: Chrome - $225.00

Congrats on 8 days! And welcome to the world of vape shopping :)

The only thing I recall reading about the LR cartos is they shouldn't be used with a smaller battery, as they'll run it out quickly or even damage it. Larger batteries should be fine, and I would think you could trust the recommendation from the seller - they should know what best works with their product.

I don't go outside at home to vape - but then, I never went outside at home to smoke. I do still step outside at work, but that's more to socialize with my 'smoking buddies' there. I do still crack the windows in the car, though... :D

Yeah, this is my new addiction too. I sit here and vape and drool over all the things i want, that is when im not sitting here trying to brew up some lovely new potion. I agree with the others, after starting vaping was the first time in my life that a regular cig tasted like crap. I have quit for over a year several times and even after that long, having a cigarette was never ever nasty, but it is now! And I used to smoke with a patch on! sigh.

Hi Everyone!!! Im a noobie here :) I gave up smoking on the 16th October 11, I was struggling on patches.. and then I found E-Cigs online after my housemate was talking about a client coming into her office with one. Got my first Elusion E-Cig a week ago and have fallen in love!! ALthough after more research and cost appraisal I am now ordering a 510 with e-liquid!!! But Im keeping my elusion e-cig and some coffee carts to show/lend to my smoking mates to see if I can get them to switch too! I havent touched a "real" cigarette since the 16th which puts me at 2 weeks today smoke free. Thank gawd for pvs!!

Congrats on two weeks, and good luck with the new equipment! Hardest part for me was finding liquid I liked - I ordered lots of samples.

:toast:

Gratz on the 8 days. I have tried everything under the sun and only when I bought the Provari did I finally give up the smokes.
Like you I go out at work and socialize and crack the windows on the car
Your going to get plenty of support here for sure. Happy Vaping :D
