8 months later my iStick 50W died

Dangit, my istick 50 just died a horrible death. I was happily vaping on it on and off whilst doing an Ni200 build for a different RTA. All was going well until I went to take a vape...and nothing. Had about 50% battery at the time. Screen is black, 5 click sto turn on isn't, and plugging it in to charge is doing nothing.
I think it's flat out dead, after only 8 months.

What gives eleaf?

I wrote their support dept. a nice email but I doubt that'll produce any fruitful results.

Glad I have a backup, and now I'm in the market for a new box mod.

Most of Eleaf's products are low end price affordable for a reason. Reasonable price, decent quality on most of it, reliable for the most part, nothing says they were made to be immortal. 8 months heavy use, falls about in line with most of Innokin's products under same conditions, what's the bark about?

Eh, no bark, just vapers disappointment. It'll pass once I get a new box mod

Just open it up and find out what the deal is. A wire prolly came unsoldered. Easy fix.

I have a 50w that I got 9 months ago. Still going strong. I have recently demoted it as my daily mod since I got an iStick 100 a couple of weeks ago (and an iStick 60 last week). Now it is my "around the house" mod and the other two travel with me when I go to work, etc. The 60 is good backup for its size. I hate that I have so many iSticks, but they were cheap. I got the 100 for $35 and the 60 for $30.
