I am so sick of eleaf and their stupid Isticks....or atleast the ones I keep getting from my vape shope. I have gone through 6 total (4 30w and 2 50W). This has been all within 6 months. 30w I owned gave me an atty short error tried fixing multiple times with no luck.(yes I tried every o ring and prying trick I have read about) no luck still atty short every tank deck adaptor. FINALLY I said ok lets give the 50W a try for my all day vape. Not to found of its size although is smaller for a 50 first one I get fire button continually gets stuck and eventually stopped working. took it apart cleaned it out button was clicking still nothing tossed it bought a new one. this one I got about 2 weeks ago and again the fire button is not freaking working I'm so sick of this. you would think for the amount of money I spent eleaf would rectify my situations but nope not with out my original receipt even though I have my authentication stickers. NEVER BUYING ELEAF PRODUCTS AGAIN!!!!
You should have bought it online from a reputable website. Not saying anything bad about your local b&m but my guess is that your local shop has a really low turnover rate compared to some of these online dealers. You probably ended up with a couple of the very first runs of that I stick50w which are known to have several issues. I suggest ordering one from an online shop which should have some of the later runs which the problems have been addressed. The iStick is a great mod especially for its size and cost. My apologies that you have been stuck with some of the defective ones. Good luck!

While I don't deny that some of these out here are clones, my iStick 50 came from MVS and is authentic. That said, I've upgraded to an XCube 2 out of necessity because they STILL have the firing button failure issue. Mine started out by failing to fire every now and then when I pushed the button. Now, it'll release itself while I'm holding the button down, and will do so multiple times. Constantly switches from watts to volts and back again, even turns itself off, all while I'm doing nothing more than holding down the fire button to vape. The reliability of the iStick 50 seems to be spotty at best, with those who manage to get theirs to last more than three months seemingly the lucky ones.

My sister recently purchased an iStick 30 from a brick and mortar. It began to have board issues within a couple of weeks, and finally stopped working altogether. The store agreed to replace it, but she had to physically return it to the store for an exchange. Round trip is over 3 hours and with her busy schedule she couldn't return it soon, so she ordered a second one online from a different store. She dropped that one on the floor while sitting on the couch within two days, and broke it. Bad luck? Or an unreliable, not durable product?

I believe Eleaf makes a product which is full of bells & whistles for an inexpensive price, but they aren't built to be reasonably durable or reliable. They are built to be disposable. Eleaf is unreasonably strict on return policies (Joytech, the parent company, has disassociated themselves from Eleaf and iSmoka)(Only Eleaf tanks can be used if they are to honor their warranty).

I currently recommend the Joyetech Evic VTC Mini as an alternative. Just a little more expensive than an iStick, more durably built, more features, more power, and made by a manufacturer who has a better and longer reputation in the vape industry.

Bad luck. Her brother has Provari, hence all cheaper mods got broken around him.

Yeah, I offered her one of my Provari's to use while she decided what she might want down the line. She decided the Provari was too big and heavy for her. After her experience with the iSticks, I couldn't help thinking that wouldn't have happened with a Provari. She's literally wasted a $100 on her iSticks, money that would have been better spent on one Provari which would last years in comparison.

Different strokes for different folks.

That has a 6 month replacement warranty, so you've reached it. Good luck for the rest of its life.
It's a surprise for me. I did not ever looked on warranty. I just realized I have no idea about warranty terms of all four of my mods. They are so cheap that warranty is not important. And I am ready to throw it away when it dies, but I believe it has at least (at least) another 6 months of life.

Northern NJ native , Coastal NC now.
Eleaf was busted on a few different forums for schilling their own products and criticizing other mods.

Their non warranty is legendary and they have repeatedly denied customers repair or replacement due to impossible conditions for compliance like "must buy directly from Eleaf" and like Batitude mentioned " if found to have used a non Eleaf tank, warranty is void" i mean you just can't make this stuff up lol.

Bottom line, they are a "mediocre at best" mod and there are higher quality and longer lasting mods on the market for around the same or slightly more money these days .

You sure these are 30's? The o-ring fix is for the 20 watt units which have fixed 510 connections. I have two of them and they are both problems. The 30 watt iSticks have a floating 510 pin and probably wouldn't respond well to prying at them. I have two 30 watt iSticks and they have been the most trouble-free pieces of powered vape hardware I've ever purchased. I keep waiting for them to die so I can justify upgrading to the 40 watt TC iSticks.

I've had my share of issues between the line, two 20ws dead one due to pin issues the other stopped charging.

My 30w is still going strong with no issues, and had ben dropped multiple times, most "damaging" was getting out of a lifted truck and it fell and hit the payment and then got accidentally kicked by a walking pedestrian into snow. Yet still kicking.

I have never owned a 50w but I have heard from 3 different friends that their buttons kept sticking, some now on their 5th istick 50 and it still has the same issues.

This is exactly what my two 50w did

Did you check your security code at eleafworld.c0m ?

I have checked my two Istick TC40W, they are original. I think because this mod just on the market.
I have checked two of my Ego One. Both are fake, that's why they are cheap.
2 of the 30's came back fake. the rest are authentic. I love my B&M for juices (they make their own which is pretty good actually) but I think I'm going to start buying hardware online. Ive always been skeptical because of all the fakes and stuff online.
