801 atomizer connection help

I'm trying to build my own 801 device. I need to find the little connector that the 801 atomizer screws onto. I believe the threads are 9MM. Looks like a simple DC connector that RCA or someone might make. Anyone know where to get these and the thread specifications?

Tom, several vendors carry the battery connectors, I normally get mine from MadVapes.

Thanks devnull71. That's a big help. I was hoping to find a manufacturer too. I need to find dimensional information of the part. I will machining the caps that this part will press into. Manufacturers usually provide dimensional data for their components. Thanks again. I'll hope for more replies here.

Someone there may have the specifics, unfortunately I've never seen info directly from the manufacturer of the components.

Now we're getting somewhere. Since you are being so helpful ( I can't post in that forum). I'll thread a tube, then machine a cap for the atomizer adapter. How would the adapter secure to the cap? Thread it and screw it in from the bottom side of the cap? I'm trying to understand the adapter.

The pre-made battery/atomizer connectors are press-fit into the metal tube. I believe they may also be secured with CA or some other kind of glue. I only have experience with plastic box mods, using epoxy to hold the battery adapter in place. The outer shell of the adapter is ground, and the center pin (insulated with a silicon gasket) is positive.

Thanks man. I figured it was a press fit. I see that they have a spline or some sort on the press fit side of the adapter. I saw a China supplier that has them with threads on both ends. I'm killing myself trying to find the info for the hole it needs to go in. I have a guy that wants to make a bunch of mods for all of his buddies. I need to spec the correct hole size that it presses into on the detail drawing for the machined cap. There just ain't a lot of info out there without having the physical part or dimensions.
