I have an itaste mvp where the threading for the 510 connection has started to strip, so it was impossible to fit my kayfun or any other topper with a 510 connector - they would just spin.
I came up with a simple fix for those of you that have an old evod hanging around and a bit of spare coaxial cable.
Take the base off the evod and remove the coil assembly - now you just have the base
Take the coax and cut it very square and about an inch long
Insert the cable into the connector on the MVP, and push it down into the connector so it touches the terminal at the bottom (probably better that the MVP is turned off for this)
Cut off the coax just about level with the top of the 510 connector on the MVP. Do it nice and square
Screw on the evod base - it is attaching onto the ego threading on your MVP which hopefully is fine
Screw in your atomizer into the evod base - it has the same threading. I found that I had to fiddle with the length of the coax a bit - you want to be just compressing it a little. It has worked with all of my atomizers with a 510 connector
Check your resistance to see that everything is connected
Off you go
This should work for other mods too - although I wouldn't try sub ohming with it
