We have plenty of people here with more experience than me. But mine are all going strong and I vape lots! I blow them out from the battery end really good every day or two and drain them upside down in a coffee mug with paper towel in the bottom nightly.

If they really start getting wimpy I rinse them under warm water, blow, rinse, a few times. Then let them dry for a day at least in a good warm place, maybe some blow drying too. Add two drops, vape, add drop, vape, until they start to produce again. I don't fire them long until I know they're well primed and producing after cleaning them.

You'll be getting more, varied, and probably better advice but that's working for me!

Good luck.

OK, another question - how old are your batteries?
No matter what the design I do know that any batteries will loose their ability to hold a charge at their maximum - most preferred - voltage and we are talking about 3.5 - 4.2 volts.
It does apply to any batteries - PV model dedicated auto or manual, or any LiPo rechargeable batteries for mods.

Batteries don't seem to be the problem, since they will work fine with a functioning atty. I'm using a VP-1, with 3.7 volt CR10440 360mAh batteries. Or maybe the higher voltage blows out the attys? Are there any attys that are heavier duty?
thx

Just check the voltage of your batteries to be sure that they are holding the charge after ~ 5 hits, I had couple not good 10440 in my Janty Stick.

And yes there are attys for High Voltage mods from Esat Mall, but...

You will get less vapor production with them on regular 3.7 Volts batteries because they have higher resistance - about 4.3 - 4.6 Ohms versus 3.0 - 3.5 for regular attys.

I always rinse new atties in isopropyl alcohol to get any factory fluid or contamination out. Then shake the moisture out followed by drying with a hair dryer(low heat/low speed) for 30 sec. set aside while you charge battery. When you get ready to vape two or three drops on the atty test vape 3or4 drags with empty cart 2 more drops on the atty and add a freshly filled cart(same flavor as the prep drip) and vape on. All of my atties and batts are at least 6 wks old. Approx. weekly: rinse atty in hot tap water, then alcohol, then blow dry, then prime atty with e-liquid, Vape on Good luck, bikes

I've been using the Crest Pro Mouthwash (blue) for a few months now and finding it working very very well.

Soak overnight, rinse, let dry 24hours and then after a bit of priming, good to go.

In fact, I've got one that is dropping off due to the oxidation that happens and can't be avoided and well, sort of wishing it would just off itself so I could justify moving to a new one :)

110 Vodka or Everclear. Put your finger over the batt side and pour enough in so you can shake it. Then put your thumb over the atty side and shake for a minute or so depending on how gunky the atty is (you don't have to soak it so long as you blow out the old liquid first). Then rinse in plain water, blow out from the batt side and let dry overnight. Good as new.

To prime a new one, I blow the factory primer out first then put 1 or 2 drops of liquid on the bridge, add a cart and let it sit for about 10 minutes before using.

HA!!!

Wish I could but I'm SOOOoooo cheap I want to suck every last vape outta it. ;)

Best I can bring myself to do is some wet burns to see if I can get back some power (or watch it fizzle) and so far, it's still alive!?!?!?! 8-o

Have to admit though, I can't quite bring myself to really hold that button down for a full 20 seconds

occasionally I put my 801s into a glass of hot water, add a tablet of denture cleaner and let sit overnight.
Rinse REAL GOOD, soak in water, let dry for a day or two (or 20min in a 200 degree oven) then prime and baby them back to life (4 drops, wait, 2 drops, wait, puff puff, 2 drops ... flodded... puff puff puff puff 2 drops and repeat 10-15 min)...good as new ....

Well, kind off. It messes up the finish a lot (getting dull and peeling paint)

I am using 801s from bestecig (BE112), BTW

Just my $0.02

In a house.
I just vape the primer through naturally. It usually takes from 10 minutes to an hour to get rid of it in the 801 :)

Having said that many if not all the new ones now I have got have no primer in there at all!!! Drip 2 or 3 drops on before first use so that the brand new atty doesn't burn should it lack primer :)

Hey tribals, what make of 801's do you use and where do you get them and if you use Carts which one's and where do you get them ?
Sorry to the OP for butting in here but 801's and Carts for them are doing my head in. :)
