I have been using this adapter for a very long time : 510 Battery to 801 Shorty Atomizer Adapter
It has always worked flawlessly and only adds a silly millimeter to the length. No need to panic. The only problem with it is you have to be careful not to throw it away when you toss out the carto.

LOL, I threw mine away! But it's OK, because I prefer my woody over my purple buzz and the woody has the 801 top cap! And if need be, I can always put the other 801 cap back on the purple buzz.

There is a reason I suggested the 808, because it can use both 901/510 & 901/801 stealth adapters.

If you get a 510 connector, I believe avidvapor has a stealth 510/801 that works with fusions, though am not positive about this

Now I remember the other reason I didn't order the 808 was because the adapters I saw where gold and wouldn't match the set up I wanted. But you are right again and Avid does have the stealth adapters in chrome. They also sell the fusions but idk if they are actual IVK's.

I guess at this point I am still not sure what I want to do. Sometimes too many opinions is also overwhelming but I'd be even more lost without them. Some say go 808, some say go 510 because there is so much more accessories in 510, some say 510 stuff has a lot of problems, the 801 is lower profile and doesn't require adapters for the fusions but it will for other things if I want to use other threads. I have ordered around $60 of 510 accessories and most have already shipped. I could just get different size caps but I don't know if switching them is hard/easy to do or if it risks ruining the mod. I could just leave the order as is and if I love it I could get another one in a different thread size when the new mod comes out with the lightning bolt!

I see we don't live THAT far from each other. Let's get together so I can see all your set-ups - I'll buy the beer - LOL! :toast:

Thanks to everyone for your support. I was exhausted and felt like a 2 year old who had their new toy taken away - and had the melt down to go with it!

I did sent the e-mail to CS on their website but now I don't even remember exactly what I asked for. Told ya I was over tired last night!

I just bit the bullet and ordered the cap that matches the carto I am going to use. I have a 2nd mod to use my 510 cartos on.

If I need to, I can throw a 801-510 adapter on my buzz, but with 10 Fusion cartos, I should be all set for a couple months.

If the fusions live up to the words of my fellow Buzzards (And they have never dissapointed me yet) why use an adapter for a carto I will use most.

So far I only have 808 stuff. That is why it was recommended I get the 808 but I didn't listen and ordered the 510 thinking that would give me more options.

But I also agree with you that if these Fusions are really all that fab I would mainly use those. So an 801 without an adapter would look sleeker and a be a bit smaller which is important to me.

I guess at this point it doesn't really matter which one I get because I can just change the cap or use adapters. I prefer something easy to use but it looks like no matter which I get I will have to do some fiddling to make the various accessories I've bought work.

Thanks for your input!

Just like notcig variable voltage PV's the Fusions are trying to be copied too. That's the trouble with this industry, when someone comes out with a good product others try to cash in on their hard work. There are a few vendors offering fusions now but they are cheap knock offs and you get what you pay for. If they are Ikenvape fusions they will state that fact in the description.

Kempo's pic is why I ordered the 801 cap...

I need to stay out of this forum!!! I am using Fusions; didn't even think about what the tank w/Fusions on top of 510 threaded Buzz Pro would look like. . . course now you pointed out Kempo's pic, which I had managed to overlook before, and now I must have 801 cap! Next month........if I can wait :( I WILL wait! I haven't even used my tanks yet...I'm sure I can live with it for one month. :?:

I use the same adapters Mist and have never had a problem with them working perfectly for my Fusions.

4 boxes of Fusions waiting for me when I got home today...........Only one problem......... The boxes say Fusion on them, but are all 510 stainless cartos. I wonder if IKV got screwed by his supplier or I just got the hose?

Man if they all went out like mine there is gonna be some bummed out Fusion fans.

Man, that sucks. Are they the stainless ones with the gold connector? (IKV Golds).

I haven't tried them (the 510s), but they say the Fusions are like the IKV Golds 510 and IKV Platinums 510, only have an 801 connection. Not sure if the platinums are available in stainless.
