I remember reading somewhere on this forum that the 510 platinum was the same as the 801 fusion just with a different connector. Does anyone have any info on this? Maybe "Mr. Ikenvape " can chime in here and let us know. Also, I have some 510 to 801 adjustable stealth adapters from madvapes, does anyone know if these will work with the fusions? The mega fusions are in stock right now but the stealth adapters are not and I would like to order the Megas now if I thought I could use them. Thanks for any info!

Hiya Mark,
They are extremely similar to say the least. With the Platinum line we made so many breakthroughs on separating them from the original Boge line following the Gold V2 development which was work off of the Boge themselves. Aside from the higher density batting and better coils we were aiming to tighten up the air flow to increase the feel (throat hit) So with the 510 fitting modified to give us the desired effect, it started conflicting with other devices that are based off of oem 510 fittings. Meaning, these fittings on oem devices were made through translation instead of being purchased through the origin locations. This was causing shorts, miss-fires and all other connectivity issues so we needed a better solution. Just modifying the ventilation holes on the 510 fitting was just too much restriction so we had to change up the entire threading to give us the effect. Personally, I always thought fondly of the 801 because it was the first atomizer that gave us the abilities to do extensive modifications such as the first ever 5.2Ω atom that was able to withstand 8.4V without any trouble and also opened the gateway to further research for every other atomizer we developed. So the immediate thought was "The 801 always gave enough room for mods so lets see what it can do with airflow" and the rest is history. :)
