i have an 801 on my 5v box. i actually built 3 5v box, 1-901 and 2-801. personally, i like the draw of the 801 box. im using joye 302 attys on it and its a monster. i dont know why but dse801 and 901 attys only last me about 3 days. im using the same joye302 attys on my 801 5v for about 2 weeks now and it still going strong. i love this atty. i was popping 801 and 901 atties left and right. im glad somebody told me about joye302 atties.
801 and 901 have different threads. if you need a bigger cart, go for joye302 atty. it shares the same threads as 801.
I just received my first ever 801 attys that I ordered from Madvapes.
Man are these things huge! It looks like someone took a flashlight and modded it into an atomizer!?

Why, this 801 is so big..... I'm thinking of sticking a 10440 battery in it and modding it into a PV!
Sorry Drew, I have not used the 801 yet and the ones we buy from MadVapes states that the cartridge "cannot be filled".

And they are so big that I could probably use one as a burn barrell too!

Yep. I have stuffing and if carts don't come stuffed from the factory they never hold up very long. Found a 801 atty, I'm gonna try out and ordered a connector. Its just a junky one for cheap, but if the volume and vape are good I will get a supply of better quality from MV. I was sure those were sold out and then went to order the connector and there were some in stock......doh. Need to get screens and try the screen mod with stainless. The ones that got it to work said it is the best tasting longest lasting vape ever.
Update. The carts showed up and they are monsters! 50 drops or what looks like about 1 ml from a new 15 ml bottle. The atty bridge is twice the size of the 501. a little scary looking as compared to the 901.
I have found my box mod specs........ No packing a juice bottle around when leaving the house, and probably not even a spare cart from the looks of them. The carts are very soft so I don't know about doing stainless cart mods. I may cast some plastic resin around one and see if it makes a good form. I would imagine the cart mod would push them up to 60 drops capacity on a live unit.
I ordered my adapter a day later so Hoogies 36 mg coconut juice and it are on the way.
I would have got more juice, but I'm sticking with 36mg from now on since I lapse back to real cigs on 24.

My experience is that the 801 carts don't wick well. My 801 would hold a ML, but leaked and didn't wick. I think it was the origin of the straw mod. Don't get me wrong. I like the atomizers, but I tend to use it at home on a wall wart. I modded my cart to make it smaller. Go figure. I hope you have better luck.
Well good luck so far. I think the variations in how they are stuffed makes some difference.
Just came out of a nicotine induced coma, with the help of a good red wine. My 14500 batts seem to give me 5 hrs, on the 801. Was kind of bummed about the batt time. the 801 never heated up real hot like the 510. Makes me wonder if I gave 510 a fair trial or not.
I really want to do a stainless steel screen mod on the 801 carts to free flow the juice onto the atty since its like dripping without having to drip. I have to do it. If I could get a screen mod on these ...........
