801 Attomizers

I bought a couple 801's last week, along with an 801 to 510 adapter.

Is there something different between 801's? First time ive had an 801 atty, so I dont know. The mod i have has a 801 connection, but these 801 attys dont fit at all. I might be able to get one thread screwed into the atty if Im lucky, but the 801-510 adapter screws in fine. :Confused?

I only know of one style '801' connector.. Wonder if the mod is using a coaxial connector as an 801 connector, does it look different from the end of the adapter? Just curious and not pointing fingers..

Sounds like a 510 mod that was advertised as 510,901 801 capable but you have to buy adapters for each one. I was shopping 801 gear this week and they word them real funny some places. Those were all 501s that required the other adapters. I'm a noob though so I may be wrong.

What kind of mod are you using?
I got one of these a couple of weeks ago and, other than noticing that it was SLB low bridge, I didn't try it out, 'til I saw this thread.
It fits my 801 batts fine. I have an old box mod I made with a RS panel connector and the black band on the atty hits the nut holding the connector on, and won't screw down. I took the nut off and it works fine.
If this is the problem you are having, you could also file down the black band, or the nut.

its a Sparkplug mod.

Im not that worried about it, im happy with 510's, hence the reason I bought the 510 adapter, which after some fiddling seems to fit/work fine. Just wanted to try the 801's.
