Yes I have already tested them and the results are 2.9 3.3 & 3.4. If these attys don't perform well on 3.7volts then how do other people get the nice clouds of vapor and throat hit with the exact same kit as me? So basically when you buy a 801 your taking a big chance that it will not work as expected. Oh yeah I haven't been adding adding adding fluid and fludding my attys. I put about 4-5 drops and let them sit for about 15 minutes then when I try them I will add 1 drop. I can tell when the atty is getting dry because the flavor changes quiet a bit but not to the point of burnt taste.
Its all in technique.... I can get clouds of vape at 3.7 volts, not as much as 5 volts but still enough. If you are getting 0 vape at 3.7 then high voltage is not going to help because you are doing something really wrong.
510's have reduced resitance in the atty, around 2 ohms I hear. I beleive this was for an improvement in performace over the older 810. However you will also hear users complaining a lot about burnt taste and stuck/burnt cart filling using the lower resitance/higher wattage coil.
I find if I use an atty at higher voltage going back to 3.7 volts it doesn't work as well as it did before (this could be just in my head, I need to check the ohm before and after on one).
Point here is, high volts are fine and dandy if you want to carry around some huge battery pack. If size means anything you can't go high volts, but you can still get a decent vape.
As with everything you get used to what you have. 1st time you smoked and unfiltered full strength cig, it would knock your head off. After smoking them over time, they don't seem so strong. Same with high volts. You get used to what you have.
