Can anyone tell me how the different attys work with the 510 (with adapter of course)

For example,... The 901 is highly recomended for those looking for taste, do the different Atty/Cars preform the same when using a 510 batts/pass?

Does one preform better than the others

And for that matter how about the other way arround, 901/808/801 batts/pass with the adapter and a 510 atty/cart?

I was considering a 901 for a second PV, but I'm poor, so I'm considering adapters so I can widen my experience without selling off my organs.

Scubabatdan will be able to give you some math as to what combos give you what power, but I'll just relate my own experience. I have a flavor - Black Currant that tastes better on the 801 or 901 device. The 510 atomizer heats it a bit too much and while I find that's good on most other tobacco and coffee flavors, the Black Currant taste best on the 801 mainly and the 901 as well.

And I find that having the adapters for those attys for my 510 devices, that it is virtually the same experience on, say a 510 mega battery with the adapter as it is on a Janty Stick or a 901 batt.

Perhaps the biggest difference is with cartomizers. While I don't have the new XL KR808D-1 battery or the reportedly great Passthrough, I do have a 280mAh KR8 battery and I find using the adapter with either the 510 mega batt or a mod is a much better experience with cartomizers than using the KR8 - my own personal opinion. So, if you have a 510, adapters are an excellent and inexpensive way to 'try' other atomizers/cartomizers without buying whole new kits.

LOL thanks Kent for the vote of convidence :)

Ok so you want to expand...
Great idea, but the power source for the PT is key to great taste as not all attys are the same. The following is the optimum I have found for each atty type at 1000ma:

901 3.3 ohms resistance recommended voltage 4.6
801 3.8 ohms resistance recommended voltage 5
510 2.1 ohms resistance recommended voltage 3.7
Cartomizers 3.0 ohms resistance recommended voltage 4.4
Ceramic 2.7 ohms resistance recommended voltage 4.2

So the formula is Votage(V)/Resistance(R) = Current(I)
Watts or Power(P) = Current(I) * Voltage(V)
6.5 watts seems to be the wattage the attys respond best to IMO.

So you only problem is what power source to plug into, going to high on voltage can produce a burnt taste, to low and you lose hit and vapor production. You can make a simple battery mod with a 3.7vdc battery for your 510 and plug direct into a computer or AC/DC 1000ma power supply for the car or house for the 801 or 901. Knowing the right voltage can greatly enhance you experiance when vaping.

I hope this additional info helps
Dan
