Question for electrical wizards:

Does output voltage on a charging dongle matter? My V2 charging dongle has '2 volt' DC output, and I have one from another company that says '5 volt.' They are both KR808D-1 thread, and the guy I bought it from said it would work with the V2 battery, but does the charger output voltage matter, or will the battery just draw what it needs?

2volt or 2 amp?

Usually chargers are 2 amp for slow charging slims or 5 amp quick cgargers for eGo sized or equivlent.

Useing a 5 amp on a slim MIGHT cause overcharging (chargeing to fast).

If your charger is really a 2 volt output, as in you tested it and such, toss the thing. To charge a battery, you typically neeed a higher voltage then you are trying to charge to (example, a car alternator puts out 13.5- 14 volts to charge the 12 volt battery)

2volt or 2 amp?

Actually, it looks like I misread the small print on the back of the dongles, but they are different. (should have had my readers on.) One says "output 5V 120 MA" the other says 4.2V 200MA. Using the W=VA formula, one would have slightly higher wattage, just wondering if that applies here or are they safe to interchange?
