808 Cartos on the 901 ∞ connector?

I've been searching, and searching and can't find it...I'm pretty sure we've discussed it before, but it eludes me right now....

Will the 808 cartos work on the ∞'s 901 connector (without an adapter?)

I've finally narrowed down my color choice (I think?) and that's all that's holding me back!

It's a venting thing. The 901 connecter doesn't have vent holes. The threads are the same though.

I imagine it will be like my Buzz when I first got it, the threads were real tight, but after a few carto changes they loosen up and air flows better.

Yup, a venting thing...I've got a great little 901 box mod that just happens to work with my 808 stuff and was just hoping that these 901 connectors had the "it just happens to work" thing going for them.

I've used adapters before, they're really not that big a deal except I just find them visually un-appealing, particularly on a sleek, beatiful mod like the ∞. That, and they are yet another small do-hickey to clean, tweak, and lose, lol.

Buzz if you find the 808 connector will you be able to do a cap like for the buzz or would those of us wanting 808 have to sent them back?

I ordered the adapter with mine but native connection would be nice ;

We would have to change it in the shop , " no user serviceable parts inside " sorry

Cutting the 901 connector would be excellent. I got my Infinity with the 901 connector and am using an 808 adapter I had lying around. However, I lost the awesome way the base of the carto is recessed into the Infinity drip catcher. In hindsight, other than getting the 901 cut, I would say do the Infinity in a 510 and get a "stealth" 510 to 808 adapter. I'm thinking I may do that with the next run or when the "new tech" comes out.

I got my first one thats on the way cut. Ill post pics when it gets here. Im debating on how to set up my second one. Ill probably wait on the new tech though.

I dont doubt it will work perfectly Should have it Friday or Saturday. Guessing it will go out the door there today and shipping to me is always a day behind.

I gotta point out that Buzzkill offered to stop in the middle of everything going on and change my order. He changed the 901 to a 808. Instructed the team exactly what to do. He even updated my order on the website. This goes a long way to show his reputation. He did not have to do that. 808 was not on his list of options but he still did it.

Ruppy, I'm sure it will work great! I have the slotted 808 on my Buzz, never a problem with it and I love it. I am just curious to see how it looks on the ∞ as, so far, I've only seen 510 connectors!

Buzzkill's service to his customer's is second to none. But that's way and beyond cool of him to stop, drop and roll like that with a "non-option" 808.
