808 to 510 Super Tight Draw

Wanting to use some Bloog cartos (808) on a 510 device, I have the proper adapter (at least I believe I do) but the draw on it is really tight. I realize to "vent holes" are in different locations and when I reverse the process (510 carto to 808 battery with proper adapter) works great. Any suggestions?

Some adapters have a little screw on them to adjust the draw, else sometimes you can just loosen the carto slightly.

No adjusting screw on my adapter. I have tried to find that sweet spot between being able to have a reasonable draw and with still having the connectors make contact but not having much luck.
