This thread is great. I did get my 8084 from you yesterday. I have a 510, a penstyle, a greatwhite, and now your 8084 Beautiful little guy. I do have a question though. I charged both my batteries while the first one was being charged the other had some charge on it which was great. But the battery is very sensitive you move it, or blow on it the led light comes on for about 3 or 4 seconds and you can hear the atomizer sizzling like my 510 does. And when I take a puff the battery stays lit for about another 3 or 4 seconds. After I charged the 2nd battery I tried it and it does the same thing. I wanted to know if this is normal for an 8084? I watche a few videso on the 8084 and watched them puff and the led light went out immediately and i seen them moving around with the ecig and the light did not come on either. SOOO anyways I just wanted to know whats up with this little guy. Once again thanks for everything. MUch appreciated.

Rox,

The 8084 has a mic switch that activates with the slightest sounds, vibration, movement, and wind. There is many reasons behind this, which one is having it activate with less draw. So there is pros and cons. The switch may improve for your battery or not. The other switch is mechanical on the 801 and 901's, which may be a harder draw to activate. On my 8084 the led is lit for a few seconds after the draw if I draw hard and remove. If I lower my drag towards the end it helps compensate for this.

If you have problems with this, please let me know.
Other 8084 users may have more input on the sensitivity of the mic switch.

Thanks,
Rob

Thank you so much for the quick response. I am glad to hear that is normal I didnt want the little one to blow up, start burning or anything. I sometimes carry my ecigs in a round cylinder case with it all put together I was concered about that also. Hey do you think you could ever start carrying those type of cases? They are wonderful I bought a couple off ebay and I tell you she sells them fast. I bet that would be a real money maker and the women I am sure would love them They even come in more subtual colors the gentlemen might like them also. Just an idea. Once again I thank you for your response.

Rox,

the cases I have are actually kickass, they hold much stuff in a small space. Plus for $4, you can't go wrong. The round I have no prob with, but I think most peeps like the flat clamshell ones.

One of my friends actually modified and cut out part of the tray, so it now holds two of the 3ml sampler bottles I stock. pretty cool thing.
