My girlfriend, a friend, and myself all quit smoking about 3 months ago and started vaping. Fantastic move, as most of you must be well aware. We all got the V4L OMG All Day kits (1.5 ohm dual coil carts) and have been using ECBlends 50/50 liquid. So far, this setup has worked well enough, but not without some hiccups and annoyances. My girlfriend has had consistent issues with flooding. We've been able to attribute a lot of this to temperature fluctuations due to her work having her inside and outside frequently in a cold climate, but beyond this we've all run into some flooding. I've spent hours upon hours reading threads on here and elsewhere about potential causes. We've all adjusted to slow, relaxed hits, been cautious to not create any vacuums or positive pressure when filling or clearing our carts, and checked for air leaks on our tanks. Granted this has only really been an issue for my girlfriend, we all are wondering what might be a logical next thing to try. We are happy with the amount of vapor these produce, and I would like opinions on whether there might be something decidedly better in terms of a bottom coil, top coil, 4 wick, SS wick, etc. etc. for our batteries or whether there might be a higher quality DCT type tank than these V4L ones (we have had some leakage issues recently). I am also curious what opinions might be on using higher VG or 100% VG liquids and how that might effect our flooding issues. A hurdle I've run into is obviously the relative rarity of 808 threaded stuff, so any recommendations including the necessary adapters are appreciated. I'm somewhat technically minded, and I personally am not averse to more complicated gear. That said, I do appreciate the elegance of simplicity and low maintenance as well. I sincerely appreciate your input and time.
