Did you rinse it before you use it? Mine got some machine oil taste at first so I rinsed it and it's alright. There's a thread about this kit here OBS Engine MTL RTA
I personally don't expect much for the price. But after I got it, yeah it's a banger! It's the same price as a smok priv v8 kit which in my opinion is a bust. This OBS kit may not be equal with an aegis mini, but this will not disappoint if you compare price and built quality. Definitely equal if you consider price to performance. The only thing lacking to this kit is a proper MTL mouth piece, which are very cheap and easy to get. You should get one.
