.8ohm-1.0ohm Vaping Question.

My Nimbus will be here tomorrow and I will start building. I had to buy AW IMR 18650 2000MAH batteries cause they were sold out of the 1600MAH batteries I wanted. My question is, will I be safe to run say .8ohm dual coils? (1.6ohm/2 cause of the dual setup)

Ohm's law calculator says ill be running around 5amps and 19 watts at 3.7volts. I know the AW IMR 18650 batteries can handle 10 amps. Am I correct in my research and will be okay at said ohms? I would rather not melt my face. Thank you.

That battery is more than fine for your application. I have the same battery and .8ohms doesn't stress it at all.

The IMR batteries are more stable. Make sure it is a protected battery and you should be fine.

I have been practicing building coils on my protank, but this will be my first attempt at dual coils and somewhat low ohms. I figured .8-1.0ohms was plenty to start playing with. Not gonna attempt super low ohms while I am still learning.
