its been 90 days of no regular (i feel the word analog should only refer to electronics heh) cigarettes.
after 25 years, i feel amazing.
im only 36, started very young....smoked steadily since i was 11, ended up with newport being my favorite brand, unfortunately they are the most expensive and rumored to be more harmful than others, anyway, i was paying $8+ per pack and smoking 2 packs per day.
ive already saved $1,000 and i have a brand new guitar to prove it
the financial burden (or so i thought) is what finally got me to give quitting a try,..never tried before, never wanted to. decided to give e-cig a try, the first week along with my newports...after couple days i was ready for the plunge,....smoke my last cig and DO NOT BUY MORE EVER!! 91 days ago i would have told you,..i will always smoke tobacco cigs and i enjoy it too much to ever seriously try to quit. boy was i wrong......
if you are someone reading these posts and considering giving it a try, instead of tobacco cigs, know this....if it worked for me it CAN work for anyone. thats not to say its been easy, it hasnt. i still crave to "smoke". BUT!! those cravings are now tamed by vapor....in the end i plan to use 0 nicotine juice or perhaps no vapor at all....but for now i am extremely pleased with how much an e-cig has changed my life.
i am now passionate about wellness, wich if you knew me well, your eyes would pop out of your head in shock,....thats just not me. well wasnt, now i excercise daily (run 2 miles every day) and have been a lot more concious about the garbage i used to call food....bottom line is i look great, i feel great and kickin tobacco was the first step....an extremely large step, but it's lead me down the path of wellness and my only regret is that i didnt wise up sooner.
saving boatload of cash is all well and good,...pales compared to how much more ALIVE i feel.
