Keep at it!! I am 30, been smoking since 21 (stupid college decision, going out to the bars). Bought the NJOY but didn't like it (didn't last long enough, leaked a lot of the e-liquid into my mouth, vapor production was so-so at best even with Johnson Creek juice, batteries died too fast, etc). After some education on here, bought an 801 pen style from AwesomeVapor. Much better, smooth but still a good hit, satisfies the cravings, much classier IMO than the mini style that looks like a cig (plus draws less attention in public places, a blue LED instead of orange helps and it looks like you are just chewing on an ink pen). I still occasionally have an analog, but after vaping all day I get nothing from it, and it smells like crap.
If you are still having cravings, try a higher strength nicotine liquid (24mg maybe), try holding your draws in longer too.
After going through a smoking cessation course a few years back (before e-cigs were around), they told me that even the strongest nicotine patch, 21mg, doesn't match the nicotine level of a pack-a-day smoker, due to the delivery of the nicotine; through the skin vs. the lungs; the lungs offer the quickest and most pure absorption short of IV injection. Slower delivery of nicotine allows the body to process some of it before it hits the brain (unlike smoking a cig where it goes almost straight to the brain). That said, the doctor told me to not only wear a patch, but to supplement with Nicorette or the Commit lozenge. It did work for a time, but I still missed the routine of smoking. I am in field sales, so my office (my car) is one of the few offices left that allows me to smoke. Plus I am bored, so the habit is to smoke! With the e-cig that has decreased a ton. I still will pop a Commit lozenge in addition to vaping to help with cravings...I even visited the doc I saw during the smoking cessation class recently, and he told me to use the Commit lozenge to build steady nicotine in the body and supplement with the e-cig. He also said that nicotine overdoses are very rare (people who smoke 2-3 packs a day rarely end up in the ER due to nicotine overdose, and that he's only heard of a few cases of it. And this doc was trained at the Mayo Clinic and has years of experience in all forms of addictions treatment)
I have drastically cut down on my analog use since getting the 801 pen style, and may even go to one of the "big guns" that I see on here (those ones that are about 2 inches wide and put out vapor like you just took a hit from a hookah...i forget their names). I will hopefully soon quit the analogs for good!
Sorry for the ramble, good luck to you!
