90 Year Old Disabled Veteran Being Evicted for Smoking

Basically, this 90 year old vet, and his wife who suffers from alzheimer's, are being evicted because he smoked in his BREEZEWAY instead of 10 feet from his building. He has difficulty walking due to his age and a leg injury he received during WWII. And they are refusing to make an exception and let him stay. What is WRONG with people?

I rarely post things like this but I am just outraged that the housing authority would do this to these people.
