I have a 900mah ego style battery and I have a few questions I don't know the answer to.

Will the life of the battery be extended if it is always recharged before letting it go completely dead?

Or does drawing the battery all the way down have absolutely no bearing on the life of the product?

Thanks in advance for your opinions.

not letting them drain all the way down will make them last longer. An eGo battery has about 250-300 full charge-cycles in its lifetime, and when you dont let the battery drain all the way, your not using a full charge cycle. For example, if you recharge a battery when it has 50% left, your only using half a charge cycle, not a full one

I am assuming here that you are talking about some form of a protected battery. If it is, the built-in circuit is preventing you from "letting it go completely dead". That circuit turns the battery off at the point that if the voltage went any lower damage would result.
