I've been using the 901 since mid September. I originally ordered 3 batteries, 2 auto and 1 manual. Now all of those original 3 just don't produce like they used to. I know it is the batteries because new batteries work great with the same atomizers. I always waited until I got the blinking battery low light before charging and always left them until the charger light turned green.
Is this normal for these batteries to die after only 4 months? Is there any way to recycle the batteries? Any suggestions, please.

Farcry,

Batteries like atomizers are somewhat considered "disposable" as they have a limited life depending on how much you vape. Over time their performance will degrade. With older batts you will notice they won't stay charged as long or may not heat up the atty like a new battery would. 4 months sounds just about right from my experience with the DSE 901.

As previously mentioned, a quick check is to fully charge the battery and then use a voltmeter to see what the voltage of the charged battery is. With a DSE 901, the voltage should be in the range of 3.7 to 4.2 volts. Keep in mind that the use of a voltmeter doesn't give a true indication of the battery's health since the voltmeter doesn't test the battery under a load.

There is really no practical way to recell your present batteries. Once the batts finally die about the only use for them is to re-use the parts for a e-cig mod project.

You might consider building or buying a battery mod to power your 901. A battery mod will not only provide a longer vape time, but replacement batteries are a lot cheaper.
