I have a fairly new 901 battery (week since I got it) that won't charge when I put it on the charger.
What happens is the LED blinks green four times like it should, but the light on the charger itself remains green. As you know, when you plug a batt in it should turn red until it's fully charged.

The battery isn't yet completely dead, but doesn't have enough juice to heat up the atty. And it seems there's no way of charging it up since the charger seems to think that it's already fully charged per the little green light.

Is there any way to fix this problem?

p.s. the charger works fine with my other 901 battery.

I have automatic batteries for the 901. It appears the charger is charging them. The led light comes on when vaping sometimes it flickers weak but stronger and hotter the more pull I put on it. The battery needs recharged every hour and a half. I looked at the trouble shooting guide.I tried to make the connection stronger but I chickened out about pulling on the internal battery button until my new battery gets here.

Do wall chargers always work?
Would the lights on the charger be functioning properly if it weren't working?
My atty gets hot sometimes and it's my impression that an atty either works or it doesn't? ( I am using my new atty and not my dead one)
The battery can be losing a charge and just appear as though it is working? ie: light on when using....appearing to be fully charged according to the charger but it doesn't perform like one.

I do not have a multi-meter but I will not be tightening my batteries in the charger so tight in the future. Thank you for the response.

That too, but I meant overtightening to the atomizer. An 1-1 1/2 hours is about all I get from a 901 batt too. If the center connector on the batt is pushed in you won't get a good connection either. Have you cleaned all the connections? inside the charger too.

Everything but inside the charger. lol Is that possible?

oh I used to get 3 hours of time from the batteries. I am thinking of trying an 801 or getting a pass through with additional parts for this 901.

Hi there

Sorry to post on this unrelated thread but apparently I cannot start a new one so have to attempt to hijack this chat. I have just bought my first e-cigarette, a Milano. It seems to be completely dead. When I put it in the charger, the light at the end of the cig flashes red a few times and then stops. The charger light starts red and then turns green after a few minutes, which I keep assuming means that the cig is charged. However, when I try to use it, nothing happens. I am extremely frustrated by this as I just want to give up smoking so much! Can anyone help me?

Thank you,

Emily

Emily, hi and welcome to the forum. You should be able to post questions in the New Members section but as long as you're here...
I don't know what model the Milano is but have you tried leaving the battery in the charger for several hours. My 901 instructions said 8 hours. I don't know why your light is turning green so soon but no way is a few minutes long enough to charge a battery. Also, make sure you are putting it in the charger correctly. Most I think you have to push in gently while turning to screw it in. Push and turn. And if we assume the battery IS actually charged then make sure that your connections are good. Look at the end of the battery that you push into the charger, not the lighted end. See the little hole there? Get a paper clip and straighten it out. Put the end of the paper clip carefully into the hole in your battery just a tiny bit and try to lift up that end piece a little. Use it kind of like a crowbar and see if you can do that, just pry it up a bit if you can. Don't stick the paper clip too far down the hole to do this. Now screw your battery back onto your ecig gently but with good contact, did that help? Thats all I can think of for now, maybe someone else will come along with some other ideas. Good luck!
