hey everyone!

i have a 901 and recently my battery charger broke, so while still waiting for my charger to get in (which still hasn't arrived) i have been using my aunt's 501 charger to charge my 901 batteries and it worked really well for 2 days.. now when i go to charge my 901 batteries the led on the charger goes from dim green to light green as if they are fully charged, and when i try to take a drag off both batteries all they do is flash green 11 times, any ideas? do i have 2 dead batts now? should i just buy new ones? or wait till my charger comes in and see what happens (which is kinda what I'm stuck doing anyway) thanks in advance!

It is extraordinarily dangerous to use different types of chargers on different types of batteries that could potentially use very different charging voltages to overcome different internal electronics. Most 901 systems are direct 3.7V connections to the cells. The 510 system has electronics between the charger and the actual cell within the "battery" unit. The 510 charger may rely on those electronics inside the battery unit to properly charge the cell. Unless you know for absolute certain (tear downs and electronic testing) it should always be assumed that using the wrong charger could be dangerous.
