I would rather have hand-made. Just something about it. Each piece had a very unique character and a feeling that this was made for me and is special. If somthing would happen to it I would be sad. Unlike a mass produced POS you just get a lil sad then replace it with another POS

I would like that too, but I also what to know/see all of the parts.. I want detailed specs, stuff like that. You know. I'm not saying this for my health. We need answers and the only one who can answer them is the Designer.

When I got into the work force back in the mid-1970's it seemed (shortened for brevity)

so true my friend... sometimes if I show someone something I made with my hands they stand back in astonishment and disbelief... its almost like they can't understand that someone they know was able to take raw material and turn it into something else... I think people like that assume that aliens build everything they know in this world....

We all need to take back our pride and prove that we can do anything we put our minds to...

It seems our society has grown to accept the "buy" and "re-buy" mentality... It works well if your the one selling... so sad...

Hi Multisync,

The batts are typical (1) CR123's (4.2v)... I have been working on a longer sleeve to hold different battery styles, but nothing is finalized at the moment...

The design uses:

no solder
user replaceable/easy to find switch
user changeable insert adapters
all machined parts are made from either C360 brass, T6061 aluminum(AKA aircraft aluminum), delrin/acetal (non porous)
non machined/purchased parts are made from industry standard materials... i.e. switch, batt spring, & e-clip....

as far as specific specifications like battery longevity, vapor produced... I really don't know... other than it's a lot... HA!

If you have any other specific questions feel free to ask...

Just got mine today :) the photos really do not do it justice. It has a lovely light weight to it and fits well in the hand- even my hand, and my hands are small.
I love the fact that this is handmade- it's why I wanted one in the 1st place. I think the price is more than fair for the time, effort and crafting of this piece, and barely reflect the time and care put into each.
(did you make more than minimum wage on them?- doubtful)
actually it blows my mind that it's less than several other "similar-ish" machine made units on the market- but at the same time I'm grateful for that because it meant I could afford to have one.
now all I have to do is commit to an atomizer style....(or get an adapter)

btw: my reference to the prodigy v1 is because its the biggest concept ripoff I've seen lately! mainly because it's really just a copy of my design......ugh! and yes it is a copy, took em about 2 weeks to build some CAD models and now he is claiming he's got all the production tooling done to go into mass production... what a bunch of crap- he's just trying to rip everyone off for a fast $$$$$ guess that's what I get for sharing my ideas with a bunch of profiteers that lurk on these posts........

How exactly can you acuse prodigy of ripping you off. Lets lay a screwdriver, prodigy, and yours side by side!! Lets see who ripped whos design off
