I still prefer adaptever, (shameless self promotion), but the brainstorm continued.

Wow.

I really dont know where to begin praising this thing. WhateveR, you've got some serious skills, and obviously put a lot of time and thought into making these things.

I got my AdapteveR (clever name btw) 4 or 5 days ago, and have been using it exclusively ever since. As excited as I was to get it, after the pictures and info posted in this thread, I was still incredibly blown away by what I got in the mail the day I opened it up.

This thing is serious! All parts are extremely well machined, everything threads together perfectly, the button action is flawless... I've never been more happy with a purchase than I am with this. Its beautiful simplicity, all very precisely constructed.

The atomizer receiver is rock solid, yet maintains optional flexibility with the addition of the setscrew for different types of atty. The recessed button lets me keep the thing in my pottet without worrying about it burning up unintentionally.

The attention to detail, down to (what I'm pretty sure is) a unique serial number engraved into the battery spring piece, is just fantastic.

Thanks again whatever, I'm stoked to finally have found the last e-cig I'll ever need to buy! I couldnt be happier with this thing :D

shortened for brevity...

Thank you so much for the compliments  I hope my head will still fit through the door LOL!

I am so happy it is working well for you... and that you appreciate all that has gone into it... It really makes building these so worthwhile... If you ever have any questions with it feel free to get in touch with me...

Yes it is a serial # on the bottom of the brass spring holder....

Thanks again!

Thank you WhateveR for the kind words and allowing us the "vaping community" the oppurtunity to participate in the selection of a name for your beautifully designed device. I had a really good time and a lot of laughs putting together the pics... Hopefully they did not detract too much from the fact that you have created a truly amazing device.

Will you be using this thread to continue the AdapteveR discussion or starting a new one?

Here's one last picture to give you a chuckle as your putting the finishing touches on my new AdapteveR.

This is my first post here and I'm still quit a noob at all of this so I'll try not to embarrass myself... yet.

I am a graphic artist and have created several logos. So I'll throw my hat into the ring as well.

NAME: Tesl-a-dapter
TAGLINE: "Quality Power"

Tesla = the true father of electricity.
+
Adapter = descriptive with a low profile.

...I've attached a concept logo too with simulated laser-etching. A retro look seamed appropriate. A throwback to the days of hand crafted quality.

Even if this name isn't chosen, I still would really like to buy one of these. I too would choose hand crafted any day. Especially when you can sense the quality from just a picture. Thanks WhateveR! Damn fine work!

I'll send a PM and hope I can get one.

I like this suggestion especially when package contents are asked at post office or customs. "A Tesla Adapter" Sounds like something electronic not something e-smoking. Like this idea best!
