Take a junior hacksaw and chop the end off your cart. It feels much more like a regular cig in the mouth + it's an easier draw and it makes the 901 a good 1/2 inch shorter.
If you overfill the cart or drip too much on the atomizer you'll get a mouthfull of nic juice cut cart or not
I can't say I have noticed sucking in more mouthfulls of juice since I started cutting my carts
I'll have to give it a try then. Mouthful of liquid has been a problem for me with my Yentl when I try to top off a cart. If you don't hit the exact center it goes around the filling and comes out the end....I need to get a syringe or something. I like the draw on my 901 anyway. Thanks for the tip.
I was going to say, to put something like these on after, but now that i look closely, i am not sure it would work.
They are rubber type bolt thread covers. I get can get them in the specialty hardware section at the home improvment store. http://www.componentforce.com/userfiles/image/categories/epdmcaps_lg.jpg
Maybe, maybe not, but figured i would post it anyway.
Quite possibly and I think you can buy carts that don't have the lip piece but this tip is aimed at those who are using a generic 901 and have a stack of cartridges and don't like the lip piece.
One note of caution - if you have a tight fitting cart it can be a bugger to remove once the lip piece has been cut off.
your hack shows just how much wasted space are in these 901 carts. i wish they would just fill them up with liquid, make them round all the way down. but then they wont sell as many is the reason. < my captain obvious moment.
The 901 isnt a Pen style but it is still pretty heavy and needs a bit of a Bite to use both hands and e-smoke at the same time. I also believe the current bite stem limits the amount of liquid that can easily flow into your mouth. (yuck)
Anyway,I always exhale through a fresh cart and wipe off excess juice before starting.
