Where are the best / safest 901 adapters for the Reo grand and mini?? I already busted my silver bullet once by using the wrong 901 adapter, it crushed the pin, luckily Chad at altsmoke adapted it to fit and repaired my SB, but I don't want to make the same mistake twice!

The adapters from empiremods.com are working great on my Woodvil :)

I just ordered the cisco 1.5 ohm and 1.8 ohm 901's to try them out and see how they are compared to the IKV.I will post once I get them and try them out.

Well i got my Cisco order and tried the Ikv 1.8 901 vs the Cisco 1.8 and 1.5 901 and there's really not much difference. Both give great flavor and vapor but I did find a new favorite.I also ordered a Cisco 1.5 801 with an adapter to try out and it won me over. The flavor is incredible and the vapor is great too.Yep once these other attys die i'm going to be an 801 user for sure.

Srry to barge in but wanted to just let some know that the 801 is a completely different beast than the 901.
The 901 is considered the middle ground between 801 n 510. The 801 attie sacrifices throat hit and heat for a more flavorful Vape, plus the vapor production is usually insane with 801s. I really love my 901 s as I get about the same taste as an 801 but still retain some of the throat hit and heat of a 510.

Couple questions: is it safe to keep switching from 501 to 801 and 901 with the adapters for the mini? I've noticed that different sites have different looking/sized adapters, which one is best for mini? I was planning on just getting the adapters from the Reo site. I currently use the stock 501 but I'm wanting to order an adapter for 901, but I also read the post praising the flavor and vape of the 801! jeez, now I'll have to try that too!! The other thing.... do the IMR high drain red batteries seem to be zapping out your atties faster than usual? My atties used to last for 2+ months, now with these new batteries, they only last a week or two. Anyone else notice a shorter life span of your atties with these new batteries (happened with both my mini 501 and my SB 901)

So what's the recommended site that sells the right sized adapters, drip shields AND LR 901 atties?? The 901 I currently buy are 1.5 ohm. Is there a noticeable difference between the 1.5 and the 1.8? How long are your atties lasting?? I've been buying mine from nhaler, but the adapter they sold me fried my SB so I won't buy their adapters, looking for a one stop shop that has best quality stuff. My atties from nhaler used to last me for months, but not since I switched to the new IMR batteries. Could be coincidence....?

I ONLY use IKENVAPE atty's and carto's. So my suggestion would be go to IKV when it opens back up, and they got adapters to suit your need's, along with atty's. I am currently using a 510 to 901 adapter from them, along with a 1.8 LR901 on my mini. I also use a 510 to 801 from them everyday for the last couple of month's with no issues(not on the mini). On another note you mentioned drip shield, if you head over to empiremods, they got em. They also got IKV LR901's and LR510's. I've only used a 901 to 510 adapter from them. Haven't had an issue with it, so maybe their others work also. Hope this helps!

On my Mini I use 510 to 901 adapters from Avid Vaper and Empire Mods- both work great. The one from Avid is their low profile- it's shorter than your average adapter. I don't notice a big diff between 1.5 and 1.8 901's. Get the drip shield for sure. I have two and love 'em. They tighten up the draw which lets the atty generate more heat and vapor. Makes sense that a true 3.7v like the imr might shorten atty life. Tell you what- if you want to save some money on 901's check out the bulk buy at Vapor Kings. They are DSE 901LR 1.7 ohm and I just got my shipment this morning. 10 pack for 39 bucks shipped. I metered all 10 and they we're all 1.7 to 1.8 They have a tighter draw than most 901's but again I find I like that for making a bigger better hit. Good luck.

Thanks for that info Timothy, I always wondered what the differences were between the three types of attys. Do you happen to know if you need an adapter to use 901 battery to 801 atty and will an adapter for 501 battery to 901 atty work for the 801s too?

I have yet to completely adapt my mini reo to my 901 yet due to not being able to get some supplies.... but the mini reo is truly such a nice machine!
