sorry for failing at searching, but didn't someone review/compare the three big adapters on a Prodigy?

i've been tossing around the idea of trying the 801 or 510, but i was curious what the thoughts were from the people that have actually tried all (or at least 2) of them. i swore someone made a post about this, but searching for such hot key words right now isn't going to be that helpful ;P

and steve, don't think you're gonna trick me into buying the 801 and 510, mister!!!

I've got all 3 as of this afternoon. Just waiting on the 3.7V switch which will be in probably by the end of the week and I think then I'll have every PD accessory available. Unless something new was added tonight.

Can't say 100% until I've got the non-regulated switch, but so far preferences....

801 5V, drip or w/carts, PG juice, low flavor now vapable really strong flavors can be a little too strong, 5-6sec drags, chokes me up at times. Really good for morning wake-up and stressed situations.

901 5V same as above but 2-3 second drags. Prefer at lower voltage for lazy riding the switch 6 second drags. Good when you're preoccupied. Lower voltage better for stronger flavored juice and PG/VG mix juice.

510 so far same preferences as 901 at 5V. Like a brand new 510 batt before you get to the 7-8 second drags and 1hr batt life. Lower voltage about the same as an old 510 batt but will go all day.

As of right now I'd put for me anyways 801/510 at 5V and 901 at 3.7V. I expect at least some improvement with the lower voltage overall vape and batt life once I have the non-regulated switch.

My experience: I came from a PS issued 901 into a Prodigy w/ 801, mostly because Steve talked it up a bit on his part, and I figure he knows what he's doing. The 901, in its standard form, can not be compared to a 5v Prodigy of any kind, and the 801 seems to do the job very well and does not require much effort to inhale with, which the 901 did. I have been slowly piling up 801 atomizers with no intention of going back to the 901.

Does the switch enable you to use all 3 attys with the same battery?

quovadis, there are adapter caps that will use each of the atomizers, the 901, 801 and 510.

you buy the adapter, screw it on to your prodigy, and you can use attys for that type of adapter.

there are separate adapters for each of the three, so to use all three types of attys, you'd need all 3 types of adapters.

make sense?

and thanks so far on the advice everyone. i'm just trying to figure out if i will be "stepping up" by using an 801/510 on the prodigy instead of the 901, but so much seems to be preference. although, it does seem the 801 is a tad "stronger."

For what it's worth, the Prodigy with 510 adapter delivers what amounts to the best drag you can get off of a stock 510 every time. Where I had to constantly mess with my 510 to get it to hit perfectly more than a few times in a row, the Prodigy drives the 510 atomizer perfectly practically every time. Set it and forget it. I assume the same is true of the other atomizers.

I agree with that.

I have Prodigy with 901 and 510 adapters. To me, both of them work well with Prodigy and I could easily live with 901 Prodigy if I never experienced 510. The vapor may taste a bit different from each, but they are both good in their own way.

The main benefit of 510 for me is that I hardly ever get liquid into my mouth (that was always a problem with 901) and I am able to fill the 510 cartridge with more liquid.

The 901/510 are pretty much interchangeable for me. But they are with regular batts as well. I get a regular 901 to hit just as well as a 510 for me. If not for the fact I have almost no 901 stuff and tons of 510 stuff, one or the other would have been fine.

I will say round carts first or 2 piece whistle tip carts second are my preference with filled carts for the whole button/atty bridge/mouthpiece alignment.

If someone wants 2, the 801 and either the 901 or 510 would be my suggestions. Want to ride the switch longer, stick to the 801s or go with 901 at 3.7V.

If I didn't have to use regular e-cig batts sometimes, I'd run 5V 801s and 510s full time.

ok I get it.
So i will get the 801 kit, and the 510 also.
So i compare to the janty stick and the Joye 510.

thanks guys ...

Chuckle...That's exactly my set-up.
I replaced the Titan 510 and Janty Stick with an 801 Prodigy kit with an add-on 510 adapter. I spend most of my time with dripping on the 801 PD, but the 510 PD runs nicely too. I have touched neither the Titan nor the JS since the Prodigy arrived. I'm sure you won't be disappointed either.

actually this is sounding good, seems so far that 901 is similar to 510. my observation is that 510 is growing in popularity, so in the near future may be a little easier to find than other parts, but purely conjecture.

maybe i should nab an 801 next.

carts are really that much bigger on a 510??

The 801 will hold the most amount of liquid compared to 901 or 510. The difference is substantial. But 510 holds more liquid than 901 -- at least for me. It could be because I am having problems with liquid getting into my mouth with 901, don't know for sure. Also, I am using 510 cart with the straw modification that is described elsewhere in this forum and that alone makes a huge difference.

I remember mega-ECF-member YVilla saying that she used 510 carts with her 901 screwdriver and was very pleased with the results.
